Shows that Went Wrong via Writers

Description

Now this I feel very strongly about, as although I have nothing against these shows, 2 with which I have grown up on in my childhood, I have to say that the writers, or somebody on the production team made some very wrong mistakes, and I'd like to express them, hoping that maybe they're watching this and realising their errors in seeing that all these were bad ideas...Frollo angry

1. :iconlegoplz:'s Legends of Chima TV Series. Subject Matter: Romantic Roles
Now I have nothing much against Season 1/Civil War issues of Chima - it was only afterwards it made little or no scene to me (I mean come on, the Phoenix Tribe were a pretty lazy bunch weren't they? Mount Cavora was being besieged by Scorpions, Bats & Spiders - even Spinlynn in a desperate final bid, enveloped it in webbing - and they did nothing to help...yet they're supposed to be living on top of it(!) And it's not still some half-frozen zombie warriors turn up that they finally show their faces)...though, at least I can spin off using the products myself. But there was one element that didn't work out and that was the Eris romantical relationship with Rogon. :baffled:

Come on viewers, we all know it's been LAVALxERIS since the very start! It would be like Macy dating Axl in NEXO Knights or Lisa marrying Ralph Wiggam in The Simpsons. Those two simply aren't compatible. Although Eris cannot tell a decent joke to save her life, she's a great reader of books, and he probably can't follow the plot line of "The Teddy Bears Picnic".Sarcastic la

In my opinion, what was the point in trying to tell the writers via the LEGO Messaging Boards with the corrections to this right up to the (supposing - there maybe a new series in the near future) last episode, if we simply get overlooked and they carry on regardless? Baffled fury

I'm sure many a :iconlegoplz: or any decent Chima fan would agree with that.

2. Thomas & Friends. Subject Matter: Rosie's New Look.

In one phrase; BLUH BLUH Awful! (I hope this isn't a permanent look)

What are we doing here, people, reverting back to the original book illustrations(?) Now, I've got nothing against the Reverend Awdry's books. The books in themselves are beautiful, and we haven't had any actual adaptions from between Season 4 to the resent stories of the Arelsdale Railway (minus story #1 from the book about them) but getting rid of Rosie's unique colour that makes her stand out? Britney Spears Can't do anything about it I mean, she looks like Lilly from :iconwildnorwester:'s Sodor: the Modern Years and Victor Tanzig's Stories of Sodor series on Youtube. Especially when using NWR logos, none of the other engines or rolling stock have had in the entire series....

It's like what I said about Nick the Gormiti Earth Lord from Season 2 onwards when he went for a bald-headed look; Changes in Earth Gormiti Lord or :iconlkhff:'s Maria the Female Beast's upgrades that make her look like a maned husky from her more original simply elegantly wolfess look; fav.me/d9k2pn9 -- not really doing them any favours, now. It can also be said for Danielle from :iconkevinandkell: for when she had her hair braided from late in her pregnancy in late 2006 to late December 2014, or when :iconjamesfan1991: remodelled the figure of Lady for his Thomas & Friends Animated videos on YouTube; The Sodor Engine's Overhaul (many viewers disagreed with that should you view the comments here; www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIr84i… ).

In other words, all of these were unnecessary developments that weren't entirely needed.

What WERE the writers/designers thinking off when that came about? [Sergeant Murphy - Richard Scarry] Shocked  I mean, it's only a repeat of the story chapter "Henry Sees Red", except that wasn't long lasting - which I hope this isn't either. I just hope it's an adaption of said episode...

Next thing you know, we'll be having Donald & Douglas painted blue, and all the Skarloey Railway engines (minus Duke) painted red (though Rheneas did resemble Duncan when he got painted yellow at the end of Blue Mountain Mystery), that's all I can say... (I mean one YouTube video shows a video of them burying their original TOMY/TOMICA Rosie model because of this new paintwork).

I just hope Rosie will return to her original colour soon as it suited her.

3. Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Subject Matter: Splinter's Death.
Now this really is the limit to me!  Angered I've like the new series, and I've tolerated with a few flaws, such as April's falling out with the Turtles following her father's mutation (even though it wasn't their fault), Mona Lisa being an alien instead of an Earth Mutant and Irma being an undercover Krang Robot, but this is too much in my books.

What was anybody there actually thinking at the time?! They just can't bump off a vital character like that — TWICE even (though the first time round, he got saved by his sons, thanks to David Tennant's Fugitoid) How could they even do such a thing a second time???!!!???
Splinter's much too important a character to be killed off just like that >Discord's finger snaps <. True, he's has gotten into almost impossible scraps and near-death experiences though the entire franchise from being possessed by the Rat King in both original and Nickelodeon series, to nearly being crushed underfoot by Dragon Lord in the short-lived live series, but he's always been able to bounce back.

Why, without Splinter, there isn't much for story, as he's the anchor to steady the plot and keep his "family" in order.
I really think this is the main part in the whole series where the writers really messed up somehow, for you cannot have TMNT without Splinter. It would be simply unheard of.

And I'm sure many a TMNT fan, indeed a Splinter fan, would agree with that.

I just hope now that someone, somewhere, somehow will see that these writers made very serious mistakes, and that these maybe corrected soon...Foxy's Hatching a Plan (Chat Icon)
