Yesterday my friend 
got married to her partner Markus. Congratulations!
But of course I don't want to congratulate just with words. So there are some little gifts and these drawings
My friend happens to be a fan of many cool franchises (some of which I am a fan of, too) and I guess that she loves fan art. So I decided to mix the couple with some of these franchises.
These are...
- X-Men
With Markus as Wolverine and as Mystique.
Here, honestly, I got inspired by her Halloween photo: beekay84.deviantart.com/art/Da…
But also because I think they look great here.
I'm not a fan of X-Men so I don't know how the characters Wolverine and Mystique are actually connected to each other but here I didn't care that much. They look cool and I tried my best to transfer this into my drawing but with a wedding touch
- Disney's The Little Mermaid
Of course!
With Markus as Eric and as Ariel and it fits so well, if you ask me. And here they can also be Prince and Princess, why not? 
- Monkey Island
especially the third game here, "Curse of Monkey Island".
I'm sorry that Markus (as Guybrush Threepwood) is in distress here after accidentally turning his bride (as Elaine Marley) into gold 
but that's the story of the adventure game: Guybrush Threepwood, the protagonist, proposes to his sweetheart Elaine but uses a cursed diamond ring he found and thus she turns into gold. His main quest is to find a way to lift the curse.
I hope they like the drawings but more so I wish them all the best for their marriage and that they'll keep finding happiness together
Drawn with pencil and coloured pencils, the drawings were then attached to coloured thick paper which was decorated by myself in advance.

I didn't have time to comment on this before our honeymoon, but I do now:
I still LOVE these sooooooooooooooo much!
Thank you SO much once again for drawing them and for sending me the originals, I gasped with awe and excitement when I saw them, and Markus was very impressed as well! I still can't decide which one is my favorite, because they're all so unique and just right on the spot! Even the X-Men one, though you don't know the franchise that well, you nailed it! I honestly don't know about their exact relationship in the original comics, but in the movies, Wolverine and Mystique are actually opponents - though they do get a bit "flirty" at times, since Mystique has the ability to transform into anyone she wants, so once, she tried to "seduce" Wolverine as someone else to knock him out, but he has very good senses, so he smelled Mystique wasn't the one she claimed to be.
But I digress... Anyways, like I said, I LOVE all three drawings very much, and they do have a special spot in our apartment now.
