System Settings

Much like reading a manual for some fresh new tech, you gotta know how it works before you use it! This journal will review the little details that represent the inner workings of the group, remember them!

Halo here - I’d like to just take a moment to talk about the sometimes glaring similarities between B&B2 and Digidestined.com. With the permission from the judges from the old group, we decided to use and expand on some of the base mechanics that made B&B2 so likable. However we will be putting our own spin on things, we hope you enjoy it!

The group will always be open to applications! Digidestined can pop up all the time and you are free to join the adventure at any time!

Are we an OCT or RP group?

We are not intending to pursue the OCT route with this group in the traditional sense, borderline if you may. We created this group so that participants can practice their art skills and have a community to become integrated in. 

Formatting your story!

The group will be accepting both written and art formats! When a mission is finished the judges will then begin to go over them and award Bitcoins. We would like to point out that when you enter an event with both formats, you will only be judged on ONE of them!

Missions! Get out there hero!

Different missions will be posted in the Digidestined.com journals. Every tamer can choose from a variety of missions available that can be used to help in character development and win Bitcoins for completing them.

There will be 3 varieties:

Main event missions: This will hold the main story of Digidestined.com. Characters can participate on this opening their own path as the story makes progress. This missions will be held every month and are really difficult however it is possible it’ll give you a lot of points if completed. These events will have deadlines, if it’s completed before the deadline you will get a full total of bitcoins. Anything beyond the deadline will give you half the amount!

Side missions: These are smaller mission that will be posted on the job board. Different digidestined can pick and complete them before the deadline, winning the reward written on it. This will also be reserved for holiday missions, which are clearly a staple!

Special missions: These missions can be done after you get a certain amount of points if you want to use them to unlock a digivolution or gain a new partner for Xros evolution. You need to complete one of these successfully to gain your reward and ‘level up’ your partner.

Points, criteria?! POIIINTS!

You will get Bitcoins from the judges based first on your choice in format and then a specific criteria within that format.

Each category can receive a minimum of 1, to a maximum of 10 Bitcoins. And this will be for main story missions.

For art the criteria is as followed:

Story: How good the plot is. This is the most important of all.
Character: How the character and digimon act, if it is not forced and based on the application data and the character personality. No god mode, no overpower, no cheats, etc.
Art Technique: This comes down to your overall capabilities and techniques. This includes perspective, colouring, background, paneling and flow of events.
Interactions: role play with others and cameos of other people in your own story. If you make a picture or comic with other people (AKA a collab) this will also count to towards it.
Guidelines: You meet the specifications of the mission? Great! This criteria will always net you full points.

And for writing the criteria is as followed:

Story: How good the plot is. This is the most important of all. Does it capture the judges as readers?
Character: How the character and digimon act, if it is not forced and based on the application data and the character personality. No god mode, no overpower, no cheats, etc.
Writing technique: Grading is done depending on the amount of errors in the story. Grammar/ punctuation, Fluency and stylistic devices all play a part in this category
Interactions: Role play with others and cameos of other people in your own story.
Guidelines: You meet the specifications of the mission? Great! This criteria will always net you full points.


And down here we also have the general amount of points you can get outside of missions!

For art we have:

• 1 to 5 Bitcoins per sketch.

• 1 to 10 Bitcoins per lineart.

• 1 to 15 Bitcoins per colored picture.

• 1 to 20 Bitcoins per shaded picture. 
  

And for writing:

• 1 to 10 for small pieces of writing.

• 1 to 15 for medium writings.

• 1 to 20 for full chapters of writing.

*note that these are also what we are using for memes as well! 
* RPs will be judged individually, depending on how much each person contributed.
