Magic: Large scale but poorly controlled plant magic. Much better at larger scale projects than subtle or detail work.

World piebald notes: In Sequoia, piebalds are seen as mystics and are often believed to have special powers. They aren't necessarily ranked higher than anyone else, but there is a fair amount of superstition regarding them and they are generally treated with respect. Most live cloistered away from the populace and work with magic.

Details
Personality: Bough isn't the sort to care what you think of him, or to take any crap. Despite what one might assume from his stoic expression and well muscled frame, Bough is both highly clever and very loyal to the rest of the mystics at the cloister. 

He does not discriminate against other fawnlings or animals based on their color like most in this world: he is literally colorblind. This can lead to some interactions with him that make little sense to other fawnlings who are extremely sensitive to the kingdom's complex and significantly color-based social hierarchy.

History: Born of two non-piebalds, Bough's birth was seen as a blessing. Not only did he have striking markings and a strong frame but he had none of the massively debilitating defects that so often plagued piebald fawnlings. He was sent to the mystics to train in the magical arts but proved no better than average. Instead, he remained at the cloister and became a guard and enforcer, standing up for the other generally less-physically-able piebald fawnlings who lived there.
