Miss SMV Pageant Round 2 - Magical Girls

Ok, here's my entry for second round of  Miss SMV Pageant contest.
This round theme was "Magical Girls". We had to draw our  senshi  reimagined as a magical girl in the assigned magical girl series.
And mine was  "Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch".  At first I wanted to draw only mermaid form, but since all mermaid forms in series differs only by color and hair style, I thought that it would be too simple and a bit boring. So I decide to go with upgraded version of magical girl outfits in series. But I really wanted to draw mermaid Milena, so in the very end I've drawn them both  , I hope it's not against rules. Ha-ha...
Now onto outfit itself. As base I decide to use the second version of outfit (aka  upgrade version) since it has two-layer folds And I could play with them a bit. Instead of regular gloves with big folds used in most of MMPPP heroine costumes I decide to use small ones (to resemble a bit her gloves in senshi form). The folds instead of gloves move to sleeves, which I tried to do similar to ones in senshi form on some point. Main henshin perl move from regular bracelet to the chest part of dress and together with dress' details it combine to resemble a clover. Also back bow is similar to one in her senshi form.
Also I think that it could be better if I would made the pearls not green, but gold as bracelet on mermaid's tail . But I end up with green similar to pearl colour in original heroine costumes in MMPPP. (aka the same as main outfit and mermaid's tail color)

Also tried to do it in art style similar to original MMPPP, but not sure if that worked....
