Hey there! If you're reading this you probably want to make a Veira proxy, or are just curious about Veira and her proxies in general! This is really just a generic list I made for the traits they should all share. I hope it's not confusing or anything! I meant for this to be a guide more than a set of absolutely strict rules, so if you have a good reason for your character to go against these rules just let me know and I'm sure it'll be okay!!   • Veira proxies should view their master as a mother, and their fellow proxies like siblings. Proxies who rebel against Viera will be quickly disposed of. While Veira’s true motives are unknown, her proxies are separated into three types. This isn’t a strict divide between the Veira proxies, and some proxies to switch back and forth.
    - Sleeper proxies are generally seen as reserve troops, and are usually only kept around to have eyes in a particular area of interest. Orders to Sleeper Proxies are given to them directly by Veira, and could cover any number of tasks. However, usually Sleeper Proxies are do specialize in one task or another. They are generally referred to as “cousins” by other Veira proxies rather than “siblings”.
    - Hunter proxies are stronger and much more physically fit. They are mainly responsible for feeding Veira and their fellow proxy. They attack and kill whomever is necessary to feed their “family”. Hunter proxies will also act as guards, assassins, and do most of the heavy lifting around the manor.
    - Observer proxies typically do all other jobs that Veira might have for them. Hacking, stalking, information gathering, supply runs, and more. They are still responsible for getting their own food for themselves when they are away from the manor on a mission, so they are required to be able to fight and kill people as well.


  • All Veira proxies, unless there is an extremely special circumstance, should be human.


  • The earliest a Veira proxy can be chosen is at 15 years of age. The longest serving Veira proxies have been working for four years.


  • Veira picks her proxies based on their emotional vulnerability. She tends to search for people who are very emotionally dependant on someone else already so that she can fill that role instead once the other person is out of the way. This isn’t to say that all Veira proxies are crybabies who can’t do anything on their own. It just means they rely on Veira for validation and are terrified of disappointing her, not because they are scared of being beaten but because they want to make her proud of them like a child would want to make their mother proud.


  • All proxies live in a large manor hidden up in a mountain, located in British Columbia, Canada. Each proxy has their own room. There are common areas, a fully stocked kitchen, running water, electricity, etc. Veira proxies consider this their primary place of residence, though there are smaller cottages scattered around the world that proxies can stay at while on various jobs. An exception to this would be a sleeper proxy.


  • All proxies are carnivorous. They, like their master, will always prefer and get more energy and strength from human flesh. However, they can get by on animal meat as well. An exception to this would be a sleeper proxy.


  • Veira proxies all have sharp teeth, again like their master. Sleeper proxies are exempt from this rule.


  • Veira proxies are required to generally keep their clothes clean and in good condition. Rips, tears, holes and generally will not be tolerated and will be mended as soon as they return to the Veira’s manor. Veira would prefer it if her proxies were more formally dressed at all times, but will tolerate other types of clothes if they’re needed for practicalities sake. Masks and other face coverings are allowed, but only if they’re willing to have them removed when told to. Masks and face coverings must be removed during meals at the manor.


  • Proxies are all branded with a primrose symbol on their body (Found here; xfrozendarkness.deviantart.com… ). Most tend to wear the symbol somewhere else as well, if their brand is not visible. This isn’t a requirement though.


  • All Veira proxies are either orphans, or no longer have any living parents. How their parents died depends on the individual proxy. This should include step parents. Exceptions would be if a parent has abandoned the proxy already/does not have contact with the proxy. Sleeper proxies are not exempt from this rule.


  • Veira proxies have a very minor hypnosis ability. It does not work on other Veira proxies or sleeper proxies, and only works on humans if one could reasonably convince the human to do the desired task. One could hypnotize a victim to walk down a more private street so they can be killed easier, for example, but could not hypnotize a pacifist to murder.
