OC: Marvin Mhyre

<sub>Good evening/morning, my dears~!

Taking a short break from my long list of art trades to bring you the elegant Marvin. He's one of my favourite of my OCs but I hadn't drawn him since February... I'm a disgraceful creator... but ANYWAYS.

I feel a little self-conscious because the scale seems... not off anatomically, but a bit smaller than my other pieces. Though maybe my eyes are just tricking me... and he's just more slender than my other male characters... but Idk, Idc. ^^'
I used a sort-of reference for this, me, but only for the position of the arm holding the mask. He also has a few other masks which I plan to draw and colour in the future.

Appearance: About 5'8 in height; pale complexion, face shape is a diamond crossed with a triangle. Midsize  eyes of a wide almond shape with a mysterious gleam; he has heterochromia (well, not really heterochromia but his left eye is permanently bloodshot; he's also blind in that eye. Right one is blue). Midlength-to-short nose bridge, nose that widens at bottom with a very slight upturn, protrudes at bottom. Midsize mouth, thin lips. Messy light dirty-blonde hair. Face is covered in dreadful scars; he often conceals this by wearing masks.

Personality: Exteriorly personable but mysterious, and this cloaking air of mystery is a big part of what draws others in. Often moving or dancing in some way and emits an air of energy. Rather enjoys working with peers; many will find him interesting and charismatic. Frequently uses dramatic, flowery language; all of his words carry multiple meanings and often allude to many other things than the obvious. Despite these magnetic qualities, many will still feel something unexplainably dark lurking in him, as if he is concealing something from his many friends. Marvin is an upstanding individual and honesty is very important to him. However, he is also emotionally intelligent and peers sometimes feel as if he is manipulating them in this regard. Beneath the surface, Marvin is in reality a tormented individual who is constantly suppressing his own feelings because he can't find a way to deal with them; thus he is desensitized and sports an extremely logical outlook. With the mind of a scientist and an urgent feeling to tend to those around him, Marvin is kind but cruel, often emotionally experimenting with others and faking his emotions to elict a certain reaction (though he does feel quite bad about this). Unpredictable and seems to change his ideas on a whim; his intentions are too complex and personally deep for most to understand. Depressed, feeling he has no voice and is always drowning in emotion/society/change/etc. Greatest fear is being “silenced”. Misguided and believes the ends justify the means, he works and struggles for the future despite the fact that he is blind to all hope. Unlike some peers he is not angry but more sad. Has managed to befriend the elusive Aurelius, and the somewhat similar two get along quite well. Incredibly fascinated with masks.
(I also kind of low-key ship him with Marjorie >w< But I need to think more in terms of their story... fufufufu~)
