Who are the Ice Hearts?
The Ice Hearts are a dynamic pair of sneasel siblings. Vani and Kara work hard to do right... mostly.

<sub>Vanilla

Ability: Keen Eyes
Age: 20</sub>


Personality:
Excitable, pragmatic, and quick witted, Vani is rather odd at first glance. A good amount of the time, she's rather calm and takes a more observant approach to things but never can help keep her mischievous tendencies at bay. Rather distrusting, she's not one to make friends- she'll be kind but will never consider someone a friend unless they can prove their trustworthiness. Vani dotes on Kara time to time but truthfully, it is mostly because she thinks Kara cannot function well without her around and Vani prioritizes her safety and wellbeing over her own all the time. A little too much.

Summary: 
Vanilla is the calm one of the duo, if that can believed. Despite how she may act at times, she's an excellent actor and plays the part of the jester to appear aloof and pathetic when in reality, she plays people for her own goals. So far in the Cinders, she hasn't found need to do that all too much as it would arouse suspicion. With pressing things going on all the time, it was better to play the part of guildie than manipulate everyone though she is sly enough to weasel out of explaining why she still has cuffs on... cuffs that jailed Pokemon would have on.

That said, she is notably charismatic and knows how to lead a conversation quite well if she feels like it. For the most part, she will do this for amusement time to time but never to harm someone. Surprisingly, despite the notion she's is more a charmer than a fighter, she fights with a surprisingly clear head and out of the box tactics that can be hard to counter or foresee coming. Callous at times, she's not one to look at and think "I can defeat her easily" for that would be a horrible mistake. Like any Dark type, fighting fair isn't a thing - winning is what matters.

Vanilla dotes on her sister, who she does her best to protect while thinking Kara needs her help more than she actually really does. It's awkward for the younger sneasel but she puts up with it. The pair are apparently from a trading town all the way out in western Huana called Red Barrows which is famous for three things: the 7 White Fans, the Red Hills, and the famous Olerite Mine, owned by the prestigious Olerite family. Why they came to arrive in eastern Huana is a mystery...

<sub>Kara

Age: 18</sub>


Personality: 
A reserved mute who takes a cautious yet brash approach to life, Kara is an oddity in more ways than one. Sometimes, she's simply react with anger towards what she presumes as slights and others, she's a meek as a Magikarp. She's been taking time to manage her anger and direct it towards those she has decided are "enemies" though it is unclear who those are- aside a certain number of reoccurring antagonizers. Because of this, she used to stick with Vanilla and why Vanilla never likes to leave her alone for too long.

These days, Kara would prefer to find her independence instead of cowering like a child and has been taking more and more steps to do just that- taking actions on her own more and more. It helps that she is a highly curious girl who loves to learn new things. She loves to read and if someone is able to provide such an activity, she will be more open to them than any random person she meets.

Summary: 
Silent. That's the best word to describe her because you're not getting much else besides advanced charades and rude gestures from her. Still, some facts about are as such:

- She hasn't spoken since birth according to Vanilla. By her word, Kara had been declared a legal mute some time ago by some doctors her family visited.
- She's smarter than Vani. A bookworm, she's quite knowledgeable but she's not gunning for Konjac position anytime soon. She does it more for curiosity and hobby than passion.
- She's mute, not deaf. Kara most definitely understands what you're saying so don't be condescending around her.
- While cautious at times, others she's highly brash. This dual nature is odd to many Pokemon, including Vanilla. Pretty much everyone agrees it mostly has to do with Kara having a shorter fuse than her sister. A much, much shorter fuse.
- She's a natural artist and mathematician. One wouldn't think a Dark-type would but that's a silly thought.
- Her skill in battling is somewhat lacking. It doesn't mean she won't give her all.
