Questions about the species

I think I'm a little confused about orange bloods. I can't tell from the ref image if the markings also need to be orange. Because it says orange bloods have physical traits and abilities of one color, so I assumed that meant having markings of whichever color their abilities come from, but looking at the characters in the ref image, one of them looks to have kinda pale orange spots, but the other's spots look closer to a light brown to me than orange. (Sorry if this seems like a really basic question.)
