Hello! This is the price information for HeartOfAmethyst Commissions! All the info on pricing is here and all prices below are in USD.
Price Points:
There are 4 price points to choose from:
- ACEOs cards - Starting at $8 (Currently Closed)
- 6" by 8" 3/4 body scenes - Starting at $30
- 9" by 12" Fullbody pieces - Starting at $60
- Full paintings - Starting $80+
Each price tier has it's own individual pricing for extras so that anyone can make commissioning artwork from me fit their budget for what they want! If you are unsure about what your piece would cost based on the breakdown here, you can request a quote using the commission request form.
ACEOs: (Currently Closed)
ACEO stands for Artist Card Editions and Originals, and are small baseball card sized art pieces. For my ACEO cards, I use 2.5" by 3.5" precut bristol vellum cards and I use Copic multiliners and markers, as well as white paint or ink. Spica glitter-pen elements are included for no extra charge. You can commission ACEOs in sets with max order limit of 10. ACEOs are given a specific number as I keep a record of the ACEOs I have produced.

- 1st card - $8
- 2 card set - $15
- 3 card set - $22
- 4 card sets - $25
- Additional cards 5 to 10 - $6 each after $25 for first 4
Extras for ACEOs include optional powder glitter (bigger effect than the spica pens) and rhinestones/sequins. You can upgrade your cards to include this for 0.50 cents per card.

6" by 8" 3/4 body pieces
The 6" by 8" price point includes a piece made on a smaller piece of mixed media paper. It is intended to display scenes (such as depictions of your characters in a story line, a recreation of a screencap) and as such comes included with a simple colored background. Base price is for 1 character in any outfit (as long as it fits the frame) but an additional character can be added for extra cost. Additionally, two other price points are offered for a diptych or triptych (see example below) however, these are limited to connected series, which means you must have the pieces connected in some way (same background, for example). Pieces are done in marker, and background is completed in an appropriate medium for the scene: either marker, color pencil, watercolor pencil or watercolor.
- Base price - 1 character, 3/4 body with a simple background - $30
- Diptych - two connected pieces w/1 character per piece 3/4 body with simple background - $45
- Triptych - three connected pieces w/1 character per piece 3/4 body with simple background - $60
Extras:
- Additional character per 6" by 8" piece - $10

This price point is by far my most popular price tier. The base prices gives you 1 full body character in a pose with a basic outfit. More complicated outfits may be priced higher, and additional features, such as wings, weapons, or animal-like features may be extra, and will be included in the quote you receive. Simple backgrounds are available for an additional fee, as well as extra characters (up to 3 per piece). The character is inked and colored in copics, with white ink or paint used for highlights. Depending on the request, a background may be done in watercolor pencil or copic. Airbrushed backgrounds are extra and at the discretion of the artist.
- Base price - 1 character, in clothes (or not) in a pose - $60
- Complex outfits, weapons, or details - + $1-$10
- Additional characters (up to 2 more) - $12 per character
- Backgrounds - $5-$20 depending on complexity and coverage area

I've added a higher tier for people who are looking for something truly special. A fullscale painting would be, ideally, something larger than a normal piece (think 11 by 14 or 19 by 24), have multiple characters or excess details. These pieces do not have a base price, but you should expect to pay more than $80. Examples below have a relative price point for what I would offer on those exact pieces but in order to receive a piece like this, you would first need to get a detailed quote. In some instances, these pieces may take longer or require more input from the buyer. In this case, fullscale paintings are the only tier in which multiple payments would be possible. If you commission 10 characters on a 19 by 24 piece from me, you probably wouldn't want to pay that entire bill upfront and that's understandable. I'm hoping this price point allows me to work on a larger scale with more intricate details than I am at smaller scales.

Sailor Dunamis is a 19" by 24" poster sized piece. If I were to offer this similarly to someone, it would cost $120. She has much more detail in her outfit and coloring compared to similar creations from the same buyer.
This piece is 9 by 12 but I had originally planned for it to be a larger piece. Given the research, and intricacy of the pieces, something like this would cost the buyer about $180 - $200.
