How To Earn Pearls

Pearls can be earned by drawing full-body art of nudragons. The art can be traditional or digital.
You do not have to own a nudragon to earn pearls. There is no limit on how many pearls can be earned.

A lineart/black-and-white drawing of a nudragon you own is worth 5.
A lineart/black-and-white gift drawing of a nudragon someone else owns is worth 7.
A full-color drawing of a nudragon you own is worth 7.
A full-color gift drawing of a nudragon someone else owns is worth 10.

Hatchling drawings and drawings using a base will earn less.
Lineart/black-and-white hatchling/base drawing: 3
Lineart/black-and-white gift hatchling/base drawing: 4
Full-color hatchling/base drawing: 4
Full-color gift hatchling/base drawing: 7

The first reference sheet for a MYO nudragon will not earn pearls. The first drawing made using a base (that you created) will earn the same amount as a regular adult drawing.

When submitting a drawing, please submit to the Art section and list the earned pearls in the description; for example, if I drew a colored group picture with my nudragon ( 7)and a friend’s nudragon ( 10), I’d write “ 17 earned”. If you do not have a Deviantart account, please post the art in my Furvilla thread or send it to me directly.

If you're looking to do gift art but would rather not draw someone else's design for whatever reason, a drawing of our mascot, Doris, will count as gift art!



Pearls can be used to buy breedings, MYOs, and customs! 10 is worth $1.00, and you can pay for things with a mix of pearls and USD if you want.
The only things that can't be bought with both currencies are adoptables and unique lineart customs (USD only) and MYOs (pearls only).

Pearls can also be gifted, traded between users or sold for USD or off-site currencies.
