Personality:

Spoilt: Sapphire has only ever known luxury, and what it is to receive. "No" is only in her vocabulary when it pertains to her saying it to everyone else, if anyone says it to her then they will often be left dealing with Lilith.
Loyal: At times it might seem as though Sapphire is at odds with the rest of her family, however it doesn't mean she doesn't love them. It is the opposite, she loves her family dearly and is fiercely loyal to them. It is her family above the rest, she is even more loyal and fiercely protective of her twin however.
Adaptive: Sapphire is a capable young lass, able to change her plans at a moments notice and adapt herself to new situations. 
Confident: Sapphire is very confident in herself, which is apparent in the way she moves, talks and acts. She is not shy, not in the least and will strike up a conversation with just about anyone.
Petty: There are times when Sapphire appears to be quite mature, and then there are other times when she is not. When she is not she is extremely petty and isn't afraid to play dirty just to get back at someone. 
Clingy: Sapphire likes to be in close range of her twin at all times and rarely will ever leave Ruby's side.
Fiery: Sapphire is loud, proud and not one to back down from an argument. Her spitfire nature causes a lot more trouble for her than she would like to admit.
Cunning: You don't get where you are being honest. Sapphire is cunning, knowing how to avoid trouble while also causing it. She often pin points blame onto others. 
Sociable: You won't see Sapphire curled up with a book in the quietest corner she can find. In fact it is the exact opposite, Sapphire thrives off company and being in such a large family it is not hard to understand why.
Mature: The years and losses have taken their toll, making Sapphire grow up much faster than she should. She is quieter, more thoughtful but still has moments where her youth shows through.

History:

Lilith loved and enjoyed many. Whether it was a night of passion, or a moment of need or even weakness, it didn't seem to matter. The only thing that would matter from that particular encounter would be the twins that resulted from it. In the year of 1685 early summer, they were born. Sapphire was first, with her grey coat and striking blue wings. Then Ruby came not minutes after with her warm vibrant coat and red wings. The two were cute as any newborns might be, but there was one thing that would deny them any right to the noble rank and that was their wings. They wouldn't understand until they were older, but it was easy for them to be confused by the notion since they were treated nearly the same as any noble.

It wasn't until young nobles of their age began to comment on their status and screw their noses up did the twins finally begin to understand that being a commoner was a bad thing, at least for their circle of friends. It didn't seem to matter that they were treated just as good as they were, they were still commoners. Not that it would matter for very long. The twins were very charismatic and despite their 'commoner' status, were popular enough to gain a group of followers. With this group they would use them to create chaos, spreading rumours to pulling pranks on their siblings and denouncing friendships. No one was safe when they were around and anyone in their path would fall vitcim to their tricks eventually. However despite this, the girls have gained a reputation for being very protective over their family and if anyone was to talk foul of them, their vengence would be had.
If they weren't out causing trouble, sticking their noses in other peoples businesses and being overall nuisances, the twins could be found spending time with their cousins. Marcellus, Alduin and even Amadeus when visitors were allowed. They were quite fond of them, Sapphire picked up a lot of her mannerisms from Marcellus while Alduin was the one to teach the twins how to fly. They looked up to them a lot.

It all changed on the celebration of New Years, 1697. The twins were excited about the event and spent the whole day prepping for it. They had to make sure they looked perfect, if only to snub those noble kids who would pick on them for their status. They would arrive to the party looking beautiful, their outfits were striking, matching like yin and yang, fire and ice. They truly were a sight to behold and Sapphire made sure to make all the right (verbal) punches at the noble kids. Though their excitement, exhilaration and high of the night would soon come to a brutal and bloody end. That night their lives would be changed and they wouldn't ever fully recover from it. They had no idea what had truly happened, except that once it all ended Alduin and Marcellus were dead. Sapphire would never forget the sight, nor would Ruby. It was a night no one wanted to remember, but would always have burned into the backs of their minds. Both of the twins were shaken right down to the core, having never experienced any sort of death prior to this. After that, Sapphire and Ruby were very rarely seen without one another. Sapphire would continue to have nightmares about it even years later.

The loss was hard to overcome, but in time they began to move on. Just when things were starting to look up, fate would strike them another devastating blow. For reasons the twins would not and could not understand at their age, their Aunt Solaris passed on. This time Sapphire did not weep as she had her cousins, but she still felt the loss at her core. There was an obvious change in Sapphire's attitude as she began to mature, Ruby on the other hand was a spark ready to leap into flames.

With the death of their last cousin, Amadeus, Sapphire didn't know if she could weep anymore. The loss was there, but she felt as if her emotions had run dry. Ruby on the other hand took it harder than she had and it was all Sapphire could do to keep her sister in line, but there was the odd occasion where she, too, would lash out alongside Ruby, feeling the losses over the years weighing heavily in her heart.
