This documentation exists as an official Terms of Service and Rules of the Souls-Between ARPG. By being a member of this group or purchasing a dragon species from Souls-Between you are agreeing to these rules. Breaking these rules may result in punishments such as warning, temporary ban from activities, or bans from the game/purchasing customs/etc.
From this point on "Founders" will refer to Cryptid-Horror and Livard as owners of Souls-Between and the Dragon Species, concepts, and intellectual property found within the game.
Ownership
Ownership of a dragon does not give you species rights, only character rights. All species designed within the ARPG are property of the founders.
◆ Founders may decide to sell customs at any time after discussion with each other, whereby funds are split between the founders and the game needs. Purchases do not come with refunds.
◆ Breaking severe rules of the games such as hateful speech towards other demographics may result in your dragons being marked "Deceased" and banishment from the game. When a dragon is marked Deceased it is no longer usable in the ARPG. Dragons are not removed from your ownership.
◆ Founders may gift customs to friends, pay artists or admins with customs, and make their own customs as they please.
◆ Founders may decide to sell customs at any time after discussion with each other, whereby funds are split between the founders and the game needs. Purchases do not come with refunds.
◆ Breaking severe rules of the games such as hateful speech towards other demographics may result in your dragons being marked "Deceased" and banishment from the game. When a dragon is marked Deceased it is no longer usable in the ARPG. Dragons are not removed from your ownership.

Sales
◆ Players are free to sell and trade genos, items, and slots for whatever they feel is fair.
◆ Advent dragons may not be sold for more than they were purchased for unless they come with artwork, in which case the custom may be sold for the fitting price.
◆ Dragons, slots, or items awarded as a raffle cannot be sold, they may only be traded or gifted with no real world currency involved, to include DeviantArt Points.
◆ Dragons adopted from the adoption center may only be sold/gifted/traded once they have reached Primordial rank (this is to prevent people from abusing the system).
◆ Be responsible! Always keep records of your deals with others. While the Founders cannot force others to uphold their end of a payment if it is real world currency, we can step in to help compensate for in game goods if we feel it necessary.
Submitted Sales Journals:
◆ Journals that involve the selling of Souls ARPG content are allowed, however if a journal is missing this key element it will be denied.
◆ Journals with explicit details about "crowd funding" topics will be rejected if they contain sensitive information/details. You are welcome to submit journals that do not elaborate on detail on why you need the funding, but we cannot accept certain situations of detail into the group. Some material we will reject include, but are not limited to:

***Journals seeking for financial help or a certain goal are fine, we just ask you keep the details to an absolute minimum. Your privacy matters to us, and it is important you protect your personal information!
Interaction
◆ We are not rated by the ESRB, our interactions online do not have a rating.
◆ If you are being harassed by another player please report them to the group or one of the Founders. We care deeply about nurturing a community of good will.
◆ If an admin mistreats you please notify a Founder.
◆ Do not spread ill will about admins or other players in public settings.
◆ Our public Discord, journals, or other forms of chat are not places to talk badly about players, other games, or be rude to admins and players.

Anything involving the game assets or mechanics of Souls-Between in an argument can be considered grounds for admin involvement in a situation of harassment. For particularly serious situation that may lead to legal involvement of authorities, removal from the game could be a consequence.

GENERAL RULES AND CONDUCT
- All names, personalities, and bio's for imports must be kept PG-13. This includes any personalities or bios that go into indepth detail about hate-crimes, hate speech, etc.
- Artwork submitted to the group that is excessive in violence or blood must have a mature content filter, but can be submitted to the group.
- Adult rated content such as pornography or nudity is NOT allowed in the gallery.
- Journals, artwork, literature, or other formats submitted must pertain to the group and its Dragon Species, or they will be rejected.
- Treat others with respect, and be respectful when commenting on other's artwork, or responding to them in journals.
- Refrain from releasing private details such as your medical situations, financial, or in depth details of your home. The internet can be a scary place, safeguard your information!
- You are free to aid members when they have questions about the group, however be mindful if you receive a response as it may not be entirely accurate or may be outdated information! If you are aiding someone, be sure you know where to find the information, or wait for an admin!
- Doing admin duties such as commenting what may be incorrect on an import, is against the rules unless you are an admin working in that department.
- Co-owning is not permitted.
- Be patient and polite with admins, and other members. We all have lives outside of the game, and we all work very hard to maintain the upkeep of the game!
BREEDING AND SALES
Every month you are allowed to post 3 breedings, and take part in 2 splits.
- A full to you means you get all the genos and can do what you please with them. The game does not step in to uphold rules that were not written in the permission.
- A split means that you and another person have posted the breeding together and it will count as a split breeding for both of you. After the breeding, you must post who gets what genos in response to either the original breeding comment, or the results. After which, you may only do what you please with the genos you own.
- You may only promise/sell/gift/trade or otherwise use slots to your dragons should those slots be unlocked. The exception to this rule is if the buyer is doing artwork to unlock the slots. Breaking this rule can result in being banned from breeding activities for up to a month minimum.
- Slot permission must written out in the official breeding approval journal. Screenshots or slots promised in other venues are not slot permissions and will not be honored.
- All slot rules in slot permissions will be honored by the breeding admins, and slot permissions do not expire. You are not allowed to revoke permissions if the user has completed payment. Gifted slots may be revoked.
- UNLIMITED slot permissions are not allowed. The max amount of slot permissions you may post per a comment is Five.
- Spamming the breeding journal with 5 max slot permissions to try to work around this rule will generate you a warning, and all of the spammed breeding permissions will be revoked by staff.
- You may only sell genos and imports, and slots, owned by you. If a slot permission from another person to their character requires permission from them, you may not sell the slot until permission is obtained.
- When you trade or sell an import, the group recognizes all promised slots as official should they have slot permissions written out officially.
- You may post the same advertisement to the group every 24 hours. Any more than that and it will be considered spam, and denied.
- If a user has not transferred a good to you after you have paid them for the good, or service, reach out to us and we will do our best to notify them and have them address you with the service or good! If they do not refund or give you the good/service it is punishable.
- Pressuring, harassing, or otherwise asking for things that are not for sale by the owner is against the rules.
This includes asking for characters/imports, slots, genos, or items.
Selling full slots and making rules such as "if x rolls, it goes to me" is NOT a full, it is a split and will be rejected if it is not labeled correctly.
Selling slots and requesting that you get a slot to a geno when it is breedable for any reason is not allowed and no player is mandated to honor this rule. If you are caught doing this you will receive a warning.
Souls-Between has a zero tolerance policy for Plagiarizing or otherwise tracing artwork that does not belong to you without credit given. Any images or literature, or other forms of media found to break this rule will be removed from the galleries, and disqualified for any rolls/items or other game mechanics received from them. Any group chat hosted by Souls-Between is monitored by admins 24/7 and all the rules of the group apply there, as well as any rules in the discord/skype.
The servers have a warning system. If you receive a fourth warning you will be banned for 24 hours. Continued aggressors will result in a permanent ban.
Remember to have fun and be kind to everyone in the game!

Any images or literature, or other forms of media found to break this rule will be removed from the galleries, and disqualified for any rolls/items or other game mechanics received from them. You will receive a warning, and at three warning you will be banned from the game.

- Copying or otherwise referencing another person's character imports too heavily is not allowed and grounds for rejection in design approval. If you are caught doing this multiple times, you may be banned from import approval, or the game.
- If you are caught stealing designs from other ARPG species the same rules apply.
- Changing import information after approval but before upload in an effort to include above PG-13 information will result in a warning.
- Stock images/photos/bases/other media is not allowed for events, quests, or otherwise facilitated activities of the group. They are allowed for your own personal use or artwork, and provided they are credited appropriately, will be allowed in the game.
- All works must be unique. If we find you are using the same works or too similar works for activities, we will reject it and inform you of why.
- The exception to this is "your character/dragon here" bases
- Images that do not meet minimum requirements for activities or full experience points will be either rejected or halved in experience value respectfully. While we understand certain disabilities and handicaps, we must hold everyone to the same standard of rules.
Notice about depicting abuse or violent situations:
We do not restrict your ability to post these or use them in the game however if you depict a situation with abuse/violent situations against another character you are required to include a warning in your tracker comment for the work and in your status update requests. These falls for both PP/MP trackers should the piece count for MP as well. This is for all literature and only artwork in stash (no mature filters in stash).

What classifies as violent?
- Characters emotionally/physically/or verbally bullying or abusing other characters
- Overly graphic details of violence (lots of blood/etc)
Hunting /fishing /arena events/etc would be fine, so long as the graphic details are kept to a minimum!
Admins are not required to view your status updates when these kinds of warnings are present, inclusion of them may result in your request being on hold till an admin comfortable enough to roll them can get to them!
GROUP CHATS

1. Be kind to others and treat everyone with respect. Don't talk down to them or give others attitude.
2. Do not starts fights. If you need to argue with someone go to private direct messaging.
3. If someone asks for the current topic to be changed, change the topic.
4. While we encourage everyone to feel welcome, we do ask you keep all conversations PG-13.
5. Avoid conversations about religion, politics, and mental well being. Many users come to the discord to escape their everyday routines or own health related conditions.
6. Excessive cursing, or using it to name call others, is not allowed.
7. Do not act rude or aggressive towards admins.
8. You may post the same advertisement once every 24 hours. Please utilize deviant art journals so that the channel does not get cluttered. Same goes for ads of other arpg.
9. Just like with the group, any ill talk, shaming, or otherwise "Salting" other groups, players, or people will result in a warning. Excessive rudeness can result in a ban from the discord.
