The first person you see is a young woman, seemingly pregnant of a few months, carrying a Pokémon from one side to the next. As she catches your eyes, her expression softens and her smile widens in greeting.
“Well, hello there, sweetie,” the blue-haired woman welcomes you with a voice comparable to soft humming, giving a little wave as she continues to hold up her Shinx, “Thank you for stopping by our temporary Pokémon home, the Adoption Center! Judging from the fact that you've made it here, I assume you're curious about who we have to introduce and play today? Or perhaps you have business you'd like to discuss with us? Whatever the reason for your visit today, we wish to help you to the best of our abilities!”

The young, blunette woman leads you to the desk across the lobby where a blonde man wearing glasses sits, accompanied by a toddler who had been playing with a small, electric mouse Pokémon. He smiles gently as you approach.
Shifting the young boy, the man stood. “Hello there, my name is Vahn. My wife, Juliette, and I will be happy to help you pick out a new companion.” Letting Aiden to his feet, Vahn turned and stepped behind the desk, unlocking a file cabinet and removing a small stack of manilla folders.
“Now-” he started, his tone a bit more on the professional side. “-you will have to fill out some paperwork, you will be allowed to come into the back and interact with the Pokémon, under our supervision.”
Pushing his glasses up on the bridge of his nose, Vahn looks at you with a gentle smile. “Some of these Pokémon have trying personalities or demanding needs, we can't allow them to go home with just anyone, you understand.”
“However, if you're looking for something a little more… exotic, we do have another option for you, if you'll just follow me to the Rescue, I'll leave you with Marigold, perhaps she can assist you.”
How It Works
- Price will be dependent on the Pokemon and its rarity.
- The Adoption fees are for veterinary bills.
- The Adoption Center is updated every two weeks with new Pokémon.
- Any normal or shiny Pokémon that are left behind by people leaving Ivywood (the group) will end up here as well.
Adoption Rules
- The Pokemon are soulbound to the user for one week.
- No editing comments [You will be skipped.]
- Adoption Center owners do not tolerate price complaints.
The love of a rescued Pokémon should not have a price tag.
- Gifting is not allowed directly from the Adoption Center.
- Pre-made responses are not tolerated from the Adoption Center staff.
There will be special prompts for each opening.
- If we don’t feel you read it’s story and involve it in your adoption rp prompt you won’t get the pokemon.
- Only one pokemon adopted per opening/update per user.
You may try out for as many as you like, but you will only receive one, if you have followed the rules!

This young Wurmple was brought to the Center by a Trainer who could no longer care for them. Enjoys helping with flower arranging. They think pink flowers look best with everything.

This young Pichu was brought to the Center by a Trainer who could no longer care for them. Is ambidextrous. Is also very clumsy, so doesn't matter which hand is the dominant hand, they'll always drop or mess something up.

This young Komala was brought to the Center by a Trainer who could no longer care for them. His dreams revolve around him being a stupendously brave knight, so he often times - while asleep - pretends that his log is a sword or shield. Depending on whether he's fighting the baddies or protecting someone precious to him!

Adoption Fee: 5,000 PD
This young Rowlet was brought to the Center by a Trainer who could no longer care for them. Has a fear of heights. Prefers walking on their little feet.They move surprisingly fast in this way.

This Pyroar was brought to the Center by a Trainer who could no longer care for them. Has an unhealthy obsession with animal crackers. Tends to make little farms out of the crackers.
How to Drop Off a Pokemon at the Adoption Center
“Oh! But we do understand if you are unable to take care of some Pokémon or if you may have found them and need to give them to a proper care facility! If these are the cases, you are definitely able to drop them off to us as well!” Juliette took a clipboard from underneath the counter at the front desk and smiled up towards you, “We'll be sure that they all find themselves in wonderful homes.”

The Recolor Rescue

Walking further into the Adoption Center, you find yourself in another section in the back, where interesting Pokémon of all sorts await in their designated habitats.
“Well, hey!” Marigold greeted you with excitement in her voice, jumping off the desk while holding her little Torchic in her arms. She pushed him upwards to sit on her shoulder while she made her way over to you and placed her hands on her hips, wearing a large grin, “Wonderful, wonderful! It’s good to see you here at our little rescue home, the
Recolor Rescue! It seems the Pokémon have taken notice to your arrival as well. Look at them all, getting rowdy and anxious.”
She laughs a little and nods her head, gesturing for you to follow. As she passed by a few areas, she would slowly reach into playpens, softly stroking the heads of timid, sometimes scared, Pokémon.
“These are Pokemon that have been rescued from various situations or found their way here after being lost or abandoned. We nurse injured ones back to health and… emotionally scarred ones back to believing again. But, who knows…,” she looks up at you with a warm grin, “Maybe you could be just the person one of these Pokémon have been waiting for.”
The Ranger stands to her feet and picks up a clipboard from her desk.
“Here’s something you can flip through. It has some information on our current residents. Take a look, if you’d like! Maybe you'll make a new friend or even a new family member.”
How it Works
- Price will be dependent on the Pokemon and the level of its treatment.
- Pokemon that sit in the Recolor Rescue will get cheaper over time.
- The Adoption fees are for veterinary bills.
- The RR is updated every two weeks with new Pokemon and/or price reductions on current Pokémon.
- Price reductions can only lower so much. After a significant amount of price reduction, it will be stopped and held at the price for the rest of its time at the Recolor Rescue.
- When evolving/designing evolved special pokemon, you may request Marigold (FiammaJoule) for a fee of 5,000 PD. - Any special and/or mutated Pokémon that are left behind by people leaving Ivywood (the group) will end up here as well.
- Lowest price reduction for a Special Pokemon is 20,000 PD. Lowest price reduction for a Special Mutated Pokemon is 30,000 PD.

- RR owners do not tolerate price complaints. The love of a rescued Pokémon should not have a price tag.
- You may only use one 30k Recolor Rescue Voucher per opening! Using a 30k Recolor Rescue Voucher and paying for the rest of the fee is allowed! You cannot, however, combine payments with another member or gift our rescue Pokémon to another member. They are your companions, not pets ready to be shipped away as soon as you adopt them!
- Pre-made responses are not tolerated from the RR staff. There will be special prompts/backstories for each Pokemon.
- If we don’t feel you read it’s story and involve it in your adoption rp prompt you won’t get the pokemon.

"We found this friend scampering around the wilds of Snowden during a collaborative mission, running away from a group of bad people. Due to the lack of protection services in Snowden, I decided that they would be coming home with us to our center here. This special Poochyena is quite open and outgoing with others, be it humans or Pokemon, even after their ordeal back in Snowden. They love snow, so they play within our small snow habitat quite often when they aren't busy plotting ideas that they feel are absolutely ingenious - though they hardly go through with their plans, hatching a new idea in the middle of carrying out a current plan.
