Hey guys, ThePirateDragon here! It's the holiday season, a time for joy and celebration! What better to do than get gifts for others? Let's kick off the chilly season with a Secret Santa gift giving exchange!
Here's how it works. Each person will fill out a small wishlist of up to three panfans they want drawn. When the sign up period closes, everyone will be randomly assigned a person they have to draw up to three pieces for. They have until the gifting period to draw or commission that piece and when the gifting period begins, they can surprise their recipient with a fresh new piece of art for their panfans! But remember, until the gifting period begins, this is a secret! No one can know who you're gifting to until you're ready to gift, especially not your recipient! Plus, you get a brand new piece of art too! Ready to learn more?
How do I sign up?
To sign up, fill out the form below and comment. When the sign up period ends, you will get a note in your inbox with a person's username. You have the option to draw any of the panfans they list out, and someone else will have the option to draw any of the panfans you listed out. When you're ready to sign up, copy this form and paste it into a comment to fill it out! Remember that only completed forms will be considered in the Secret Santa when the sign up period ends, and you can't change it afterwards!

Time Periods
Sign Up - This is the only time to sign up and/or edit your forms!
- November 29th through December 4th (Monday)
Art Preparation - During this time, commission or create the art for your Secret Santa
- December 5th through December 23rd
Gifting Period - Make sure you gift your Secret Santa their art anytime between these days!
- December 24th through December 27th
What kind of art can I gift?
We welcome artist of all ages and skills, but please make sure your gifts fit these criteria.
At least one piece needs to be a colored, cleanly drawn (i.e. not a sketch) fullbody of at least one of your giftee's panfans. The panfan drawn needs to be recognizable too, we have to be able to tell who you're drawing. Any of the other pieces can be done however you please (headshot, pixel, sketch, etc.). Group pieces can also be done and count as one piece each.
Your pieces don't have to be drawn by you either, they can be commissioned or made by other artists, as long as they fit the previous criteria.
Please do not collect more than three pieces. Although it's great that you may have a lot of gifts for your Secret Santa, we don't want anyone to feel jealous for getting much more or less than another. You must have at least one piece to give your Secret Santa, but no more than three.
You are free to draw whichever panfans they listed out in their form.
What if I don't own a panfan?
If you don't own a panfan but you are a member of the Panfans group, you may list one character instead of panfans to receive art of. However, this can only be done if you don't have any panfans and if you are a member of the group from the time you sign up to the end of the Secret Santa gifting period. Should you get a panfan sometime during the art preparation period, let me know and I'll let your Secret Santa know that they have the option to get you panfan art (please know that if they've already made your art you might not get art of your new Panfan).
What if I don't get any art from my Secret Santa?
Should something happen and we get no response from your Secret Santa, one of the artists or I will work towards making/getting you a piece. If your Secret Santa contacts me about having difficulties getting it to you on time, we'll let you know during the gifting period that your gift may be coming late.
What if I can't gift my art on time?
Please contact me via note as to why you won't be able to gift your Secret Santa their art. If you won't be available during the time, I can always send it for you. However, if something has happened or you are worried about getting an art piece on time, please let me know and we can work out how to help you and your Secret Santa. Remember, if you don't gift your Secret Santa at all with no reason, you'll get a strike that can build up against you in further events, but if you talk to me about having difficulties we can always work through them without penalties.
What do I do during the gifting period?
Anytime between December 24th and 27th, you may feel free to upload, mention, note, or send in any other way the art to your Secret Santa. When you've done so, please note me or comment below so that I can check you off the list and record that you've sent it! You may also feel free to let me know once you've received your art as well.
Can I get art of panfans/characters not on their list?
Please stick to the panfans they've specifically listed out on their form. If your Secret Santa has characters that are beyond your ability and seem too complicated, let me know and I can ask them if they'd be interested in switching them. Please keep in mind that they may not have different panfans and you don't have to draw out each panfan they list.
Can I change the panfans/characters once the art preparation period has started?
Please refrain from doing this, as your Secret Santa may not noticed you've changed them or have already drawn art for characters no longer listed. Once the art preparation period begins and the sign up period closes, whatever characters you have listed in your form are the ones we expect your Secret Santa to draw from.
