Main Article: Sargasso, The Ever-Changing City

One of the things to keep note of while exploring The Sea is that you can find just about anything out there. Even islands made of places that shouldn't exist in a 3-dimensional space, but does so anyway. One of these islands is what can best be described as a child's drawing of a city looks like such as massive white slanted rectangles for buildings with smaller rectangles for windows and doors. The ones that inhabit this city are called The Rakugaki, a name given by the Japanese man that discovered them as he slipped into his native tongue by accident when describing the creatures that live in that city.

And Rakugaki, which is Japanese for "doodle", is a fitting name; since just about every living creature in Scribble City is effectively a living drawing that is as thin as paper, but they still move and function like they are under a different set of physics then our own. The massive variety of different Rakugaki is staggering as very few of them are similar to one another in terms of their design; Some are colored while others are just black & white, some looking like sea life, machines, animals and some even look like humans.

A thing to keep in mind about the Rakugaki is that many of them are very child-like and are fascinated by The Super Sargasso Sea since just about everything they see in it is so different to themselves and their city, collecting pieces of junk from The Sea for their respective collections.

From what the sailor that first found them was able to piece together from the locals, The Rakugaki come from a place called The Sheet, a realm that is just a white featureless expanse with landscapes like Scribble City drawn on it. They also have what they consider their protectors, as much of The Rakugaki are mostly peaceful so they and their city needed to be protected against any threats to their well-being. Some of the names that the sailor managed to hear are as listed: "Skullferno", "HO512", "The Knight of Lost Souls", "Cranium Hunter", "Gear Wall", "Burning Tempest", "Sky Cutter" & "Frozen Tundra" with the most powerful being "Gargalan, The Sky Fortress", "Nemesis, The God of Oblivion", "Desartes, The Sand Dragon" & "Fenris, The Wolf of Ragnarok" though these four are so powerful that they can only come to assist if the current threat is too great for the other protectors to handle.

After staying in Scribble City for about a day, the sailor had to be forced to leave by one of the protectors; a skeleton with flaming hair, massive purple shoulder pads, and a few golden bones on it's body. This creature was Skullferno, and it explains to the sailor that it and it's colleagues don't want him to stay around for much longer as the natives would get too attached to him. Also that he is to never tell anyone else about Scribble City as they know that their city's citizens would get taken advantaged of by outsiders that find them.

The sailor did return back to Sargasso after that warning, but the story was so crazy that he can't help but talk about it. Though three pairs of ears managed to catch the sailor's story, three young heroes who could've been considered Rakugaki if they never changed when first coming through the portal.

Why does this place remind me so much of the chalkzone?
