Mutation

'In a sudden flash of pain Lann screamed and fell from her cot. It was unbearable, as if lot of ulcers appeared on her skin at once, as if needles were pierced under her fingernails, as if acid was splashed into her face. But the worst was her back as if something tried to cut through her skin right where her scapulas were.

Those damn lizards, she thought, they must have contaminated her with something hoping it would spread and reduce amount of enemy soldiers. She could not let that happen.

“Call the medics and seal the area! It might be contagious!”, Lann shouted, cry of terror and pain instead of her usual commanding tone. ”NOW!”

Zania, who had fallen asleep at the table, woke up and widened her eyes in shock, unable to say a word. Lann’s body was mutating. Sclera of her right eye turned black and pupil was now vertical like reptile’s and scales appeared on her roommate’s skin. Her nails were turning into sharp claws and behind her back there were two black bat-like wings, small and primitive.'

Yeah, I don't do just cute and light artworks. When it comes to my story there are plenty of dark scenes I might illustrate.
As for this drawing, this is the episode when Lann's magic powers showed up for the first time, in rather unpleasant way. She has an ability to partially transform into dragon-like creature (which is way smaller though, around 70-90 kg). This ability is the one that causes Lann the biggest trouble since it's very rare and she was the first in her family who got it in several generations (like some deseases which are passed through recessive genes). It's extremely hard to control and Lann will have to try her best to deal with it as the story goes.

Spent an enternity on anathomy, even made my cosin to pose for me xD I really hope the perspective is okay. Also tried to draw muscular girl's body as Lann is well trained physically.
