"You can't be serious Danni!" an elderly woman said as she looked into her granddaughter's bedroom.
"Who really cares what holiday the costume is meant for. A costume is just a costume." Danni huffed.
Her nan rolled her eyes as she looked around the Halloween themed room.
"I'll never understand why you chose Halloween as your favourite holiday."
"Because of the free sweets, spooky atmosphere and better music," Danni explained.
"Well listen you just take care." her nan began.
Danni sighed as she looked at her nan, "Not this again!" she muttered.
"Yes this again!" her nan barked, "Wearing the wrong costume in the wrong holiday can have permeant repercussions."
"Nan first things first. Bullshit!" Danni stated, "Two I've done this for years and nothing has ever happened to me!"
"There's always a first time for everything." her nan muttered.
"Can you just go and leave me to chill?" Danni asked.
The nan walked out of the room shaking her head as Danni smirked.
"Stupid mumbo jumbo!"
She pulled off her leather jacket and threw it onto the bed.
"Right so a nice little chill out session then off the work party at six." she told herself
Danni sat on the bed, giving a slight chuckle as she tried to think of all the repercussions that could happen to her friends if any existed.
But as she sat there she couldn't help but feel a chill running down her spine.
"It's just silly!" she stupidly told herself, unaware of her fingernails starting to darken. Her curvy nails lengthened, sharpening into points as they curved inwards slightly.
"What the hell?" she quizzed as her body began to feel strange.
Her eyes widened as she felt her ears beginning to tingle.......
