For this year, I've been dwelling in my old stories once again, this time re-imagining the pivotal "Spirit Fight" tournament, sticking how I could to match the official prompt list. On the championship, teams of three members fight each other through a group phase and then through three rows of classifying into the great final. This fighting championship involved techno-shamans from around the world. Given the disturbance, it was not strange to find techno-shamans from other dimensions, hailing from dystopias, utopias, with spirits, summonable allies and downloadable A.I.s more strange or familiar than the competitors themselves. Each had a question to settle in the fights, it's understood that merit would evaluate those who advance ahead. Couldn't be more wrong, as a mysterious competitor rigged the championship to begin with. They just find it out in season 5's finale (I guess...)

This is such a character from these stories.
Anna Philopator (Project Shell) is arguably the "Golden Creation" indeed, one destined to save the future and secure an utopia, to which "all suffering would have been justified as to the pavement of a holistic and timeless existance". That according to her creator and herself, of course. Deep down she has everything a killing machine has and more. Guided by her summons, the Goddess of Light and Justice, as well as to her newest, ultimate persona, the Queen of the Black Land, she is also overseer to a circle in Hell (guess which one - yeah, that's right), ruling the hellions as well as the inhabitants of her future utopia like they were "her children". Hailing from an automated future (dating eight years after the competition is supposed to happen), she was built during the times the republic-oriented Juventists competed with the mostly tribal Tinteno-Criticazoicans (remember that in such future both had equal belical potential). Things got complicated and they needed bigger sponsors. She was uneasy with the No-Fayans at first because of Lapolo, his disappearance for a while left a power vaccuum her father took hold off, and when he started to travel dimensions non-stop, she took charge of the sunset city of No-Faiase. Unsatisfied in conquering her system, she went on a time crusade to revert all places in the galaxy as sentries of this promised utopia. Or is it? We can believe she was either bored in her place as "queen" (take it No Faiase may have een a republic, but she's deemed as the most efficient ruler, so, voting has been classified as unexpressive) or missing her father, whodrifted a dimension to another, but there's much more to that.
The truth behind her creation was a deal between her father and the No Faia Spirit, who sponsored the man who've discovered his 'tomb', awakened his messiah, and wrought it's curse to the machines, believing the future was quite boring and needed a chaos factor in order for his creativity to bloom, one he didn't find in the brainy A.I.s. No giving in to evil so blindly, he'd have his daughter made in a late cyborg, the last to which no technology was parallel to, thus was healed of any possible virus. But the fiend of chaos was an old acquaintance. He made a deal in certain slice of his time-line, and while the proud father believed his successor would secure his 'realm of dreams', an 'utopia' gods future and past were jealous to, the fiend meant to break it from the inside. By her, if necessary...


This is Anna "Philopator" (her original surname was anything by the initials G.W.) as she was built in this 'future' (remember then, it was 2004, so the future may be a possible 2012, who knows...), in her color setting matching more or less some Juventist Faction from that given time. While her past failed to summon spirits which were meant for her own persona, she didn't fail to summon goddess class spirits in either time. Her past (Anna Good Waters, a 14 year old self who has a different personality and memories) summoned Aphrodite whereas she makes it the way the "creation" was supposed to, and perform the summoning of Athena, as a virgin goddess of strategy, warfare, protection and matron to the Athenians (to which the Juventists are a counterpart in this dimension), not without mentioning granted with powers of light projection, control, modification and refraction, by her bright clear aegis. The bright goddess is what the Juventists looked upon still in the most dire of times, while the Tinteno-Criticazoican always threatened an invasion (or that was mass hysteria force fed on media sponsored by Ulhaden, Zon or her father himself) she was a figure of hope and stood by her father (then capitain) at all times, unless ordered to other accomplishment - usually fighting, reducing enemy lines to scrap. Inspiring positiveness in such effective, yet destructive act, the Juventists were optimistic in their victory, all but Zon's followers, who cherished more brutality than the effective act, a crude truth behind their schemes of doing the work and only that, disgusted by the additional morale she used to shield and leave the conscience of the juventists unscathed. She personifies civilization in every sense - a soft voice, delicate hands, a craftsman's finest of works, but as well power to kill millions, to rob the heart's desire, to spread grief, and inspire awe, an unattainable company, a severe force. A beautiful lie.

She met her supposed past, or as they refer in time, "biological matrix". She believed she should be protected so her existence could be assured. But her very presence in both times (or out of the one she supposed belonged to) made this "utopia" she inhabited a flying plane in space, drifting between dimensions. It was her father's dream, he was the arch dreamer and architect of a dimension which he meant to survive the wiping out of a next big bang. It should be the core of the universe and a new seat of power. But even when the Tnteno-Criticazoicans were repelled and had internal dissension, even when the future seemed to be safe, and the shadow Lapolo cast was replaced by her benefactor (practically doing the same things of No Faia's supposed "living image", albeit with the pretext he "had deciphered the logic of chaos", thus "had it in control"), it was of no effect, but drifting endlessly as a bubble in the cosmos. Thus, Shell had a calling to reach out for her father, and lacking the guidance she had in early years, she resorted to a "vizier", a mysterious figure, an enemy turned friend, a killing machine who discovered peace and earned a "heart" (maybe figuratively or not - maybe she's still a "tin-man" on the inside) by Anna's own compassion (a trait of forgiveness the Tinteno-Criticazoicans had no exposure to). This is how she meant to preserve the connection with her past and make what should be done. Her vizier possess the Spear of Time, which made her team make the terms of time on their own, managing to reman as long as they'd like in the past. To complete her ranks, she allied to a demon who was supposedly on an errand (take that as playing some high school's nurse for few decades - without aging, of course), but instantly recognized her. The allegiance opened new businesses in hell for example, where she learned quickly to conjure other powers...
Thus, HG Team was born. None of them fully human, it was among the favorites of the competition, until....
