It's finally official: the series Stationery Voyagers has ceased all development.  A future revival hasn't been completely ruled out, but is unlikely at this time.

The series was first proposed in 2000, but does not work with the current Dozerfleet Megaverse format for Abrujanian timelines.  Notes on what would have happened will remain on the Dozerfleet Database.  However, the adventures of the crew of the Bindaf 3000 will not be turned into novels.  They will most likely not get an official TV show, now or ever in the future.

However, just because the main premise for it is canceled, does not mean that all elements of it will cease to be.  It has left a lasting impression on the remaining Megaverse, as will be documented here soon.

Some other notes of changes to the Megaverse should be discussed first:

Retired lines

  • The Mutt Mackley Show has ceased all development for the foreseeable future.  Mutt Mackley, Officer Hornet, Gambino Penguin, Smiley Toucan and the cast of Gored By Them Things have been retired.  Information is still on the database about Kings in the Corner, 3-13, and Mackley's Wardrobe, for all interested.
  • There may or may not be any future for the When Bikes Argue franchise.  With Ackro and Colly's models ceasing to exist, Hilo alone cannot carry the original premise.  A revival of the premise with new bikes is not impossible, however.  Yet, it will not be part of the Abrujanian Saga.  For now, it is assumed this franchise is dead.
  • No new Becka Rangers parodiesNemo Thunder and Dory Charge were funny while they lasted.   But it's time to move on.  The gal these were based on married a loser, and became no one anyone would want for a sibling.  In light of this, these spoofs are not funny anymore.  So the entire thing has been retired.

Fused lines

The surviving Slushyverse is now part of the Dromedeverse.  This means that Slushy the Bullfrog and his animal friends can now share a world with the Camelorum convicts, the Trapezoid Kids, etc.  Which means that :iconprodigal-gamer: and :iconanirbrokenear: can now play with Slushy, Cone, Vegetable, Maldo, Sphere, Toad, and Jackalslapnasty in their own works.

Slushy's mustached clone, PX Slushy, is now a multiversal constant, who wants to be a replacement for Pepe in terms of being the most used image macro of a cartoon frog for political memes.

The two artists I mentioned above are also free to use Cornert, Polly, Enclo, and Humdrum in their artwork.  (And since they're cartoon trapezoids, they should be pretty easy to draw.)

Returning lines?

A revival of Camp Jellybean has not been completely ruled out.

The Voyager fallout

Now for the moment most of you may be curious about: what will and will not remain at Dozerfleet given the removal of Stationery Voyagers.  What would have been will still be noted on the database, it just won't receive any further development as currently understood.

Remaining / re-purposed characters / elements

  • What the Inktactillia says about pre-Fall-of-Man history.
  • The concept of Definition Essentials (categorical imperatives.)
  • Volition Dilemma as a universal Definition Essential.
  • Vocational Destiny as a Definition Essential.
  • War in Heaven narrative and angelology will be transferred, with minor revision, to fit the Abrujanian structure.
  • Dandelion Effect as a Definition Essential.
  • Concept of Barely-Explicable Phenomena.
  • Concept of a Mosquatlon, but with a different origin story for the species.  More acceptance of the term "vampire" as a "slur."  (They don't like being compared to bat-based vampires.)
  • Concept of an Aviatet, but with a different origin story for the species.  And no longer limited to were-canaries.
  • Concept of a Librion, albeit with some revisions.
  • The frozen (but quasi-inhabitable) dwarf planet Menehune (now in Gerosha continuity.)  It's basically like Hoth, but with a Hawaiian name.
  • Suspended animation.  Just via Marlquaan Prison Fields (MPF) instead of Muellexic.
  • The Marlquaan will now have applications for technology similar to the Muellex before it.
  • Astrabolo's madness now part of the Icy Finger and Triumvirate, although Rappaccini will not be an exact translation of Astrabolo.
  • Dolondri
  • Maurice
  • Cherinob (formerly referred to as "Critiqamas," a reference to "critical mass.")
  • Levio
  • Filforth
  • Gabriel, though he is never referred as "Gabon" anymore.
  • Cavalore
  • Mary will still have action hero elements, but much more toned down from what they were in "Essentials of Nativity."
  • Use of the term "Crooked Rainbow" to refer to militant LGBTQPIZ extremists.  (Think Floyd Corkins.)

Removed characters / elements

  • The entire timeline and other planets and nation names from the series.
  • Final Hope
  • Yehtzig Pirate League
  • Markerterion
  • Alhox
  • The Bindaf 3000 crew
  • Cindy Martius and all related characters (since they were bad Underworld parodies anyway.)
  • Frederick Powderkov and Joli Perruche and related characters (since they were cheap mockeries of Twilight and Napoleon Dynamite anyway.)
  • The Muellex
  • Cybomec
  • All other tonal influences inspired by Heroes.
  • Drismabons
  • The Devil being called a "Vile Chameleon."
  • Wizards Wilter and Lamdock
  • The Lightning Zebra, sadly, must go.

These impacts will result in the remaining six major timelines in the Megaverse having much more ability to develop a collaborative and coherent structure toward making stronger narratives.  The narratives I control most will get better attention with the competition of elements gone.

Since there is little to the Wilinskiverse narrative, that means that there are only five lines that remain that will require my attention.  All narratives that will be of major brand relevance will exist in one of those five lines:

  • Dromedeverse
    • Camelorum Adventures
    • Percolation Warriors
    • The Trapezoid Kids
    • Pekins
    • Grillitan Diner
    • The Slushy Show
  • The Cherinob Trilogy
    • Cherinob
    • Cherinob 2
    • Cherinob 3
  • The Gerosha Chronicles
    • All Origins titles
    • All Orient titles
    • The Gray Champion Trilogy
    • Navyrope Duology
    • Extirpon Trilogy
    • Blood Over Water
    • Sorbet
    • Pilltar Trilogy
    • Ciem Trilogy
    • Sniperbdger: Fall of the Critter Resistance
    • Sodality
      • Instigation
      • Adaptation
      • Determination
      • Augmentation
      • Vindication
    • Sodality: Battle for Metheel
    • The Gerosha Chronicles: Centipede + 49
    • Swappernetters
    • Ciem Tomorrow
    • Percolation
    • Percolation: Legends
    • Etc.
  • Q-Basic Gorillas Saga
    • Q-Basic Gorillas
    • Q-Basic Gorillas: Orangutans of Fire
    • Q-Basic Gorillas: Beneath the Golden Dome
    • Q-Basic Gorillas: Civil War
    • Q-Basic Gorillas: Obliteration
  • Eccentriaverse
    • Volkonir Journals
    • The Blue Face Film Strips
    • Volkonir Journals: Attempt #43
    • Volkonir (2008)
    • Volkonir: The Series
    • Volkonir and the Knights of Cortascius
    • The Bison
    • The Bison Reborn
    • The Bison Dilemma
    • The Bison Aquafied: Rise of the Eel Thing
    • Etc.

In addition to its really complex cosmology, planetary structure, species list, and all-around narrative, Stationery Voyagers suffered from its alternate history.  Things needed other names.  This became problematic to keep straight after a while.  Cultural references, such as to the activities of the "Crooked Rainbow" (LGBT extremists) portrayed a desperately evil movement willing to push certain envelopes, regardless of who got hurt.

Real life has already dated every single reference that was made in Stationery Voyagers, with the Obama regime having pushed the T in LGBT to levels that were never before perceived as a possible angle in the political sphere.

Every prediction shy of defying the law of gravity to climb up a building 2003 Daredevil-style while carrying an ax just to attack someone who isn't on board with the fanatical sexual anarchist cause has already not only come true, but been replaced with something even more extreme than what the series' premise dared suggest possible!  In "Choice After All," it was a plot point that several activists necessitate at one point the angel Filforth incinerating them in a massive fireball.  Something similar has already happened since then to a nightclub in San Fransisco!

Poisoning candy to make victims horny?  Already happening!

The Devil pushing globalism through world leaders and financiers?  Already happening!

In addition to the premise beginning to read like an updated "We Didn't Start the Fire," there were issues with the trademarks and patents of the characters' designs.  Pextel was obviously a Pentel Click-It PD15.  Cybomec was a BiC.  Liquidon was a Gilette whiteout pen.  There was very little way to write around this without radical alteration of their designs.

Dropping Voyagers from the lineup also means that all Sims downloads that are part of DzMD that pertain to characters from that franchise have also been retired.  That includes Mitchell Lomken, Elliot Brownside, Ronda Moleary, and Cal Bacon (based on Ken Ham.)  Cal Bacon may be made available on the Sims 4 Gallery as a Ken Ham Sim with a description change, however.

All Sims 2 material is retired from DzMD, except for the Stretch Skeleton Accessories.  All Sims 3 downloads on DzMD pertaining to the Dozerfleet Megaverse are being retired from circulation.  Most Sims 4 downloads will remain up, though the ones not yet completed for upload will have their ads removed.

It's been a fun 17 years, imagining a dark and serious world where writing utensils have their own battles of religion and politics while thwarting a premature doomsday.  A bit like Star Wars with pens, but with more of a Christian than Buddhist theological slant.  However, its cancellation will clear the slate for better things moving forward.
