Our general chatroom is available to everyone, members and guests. Please read all of the following before joining. If you have a question about S-F/etc feel free to ask in the chatroom - our community will be happy to help you. PLEASE do not be shy. Everyone is very friendly, Mods and Members. We promise there is nothing to be afraid of. Let's chat!
Please note that our chatroom has an announcements thread for updates that may not be announced anywhere else, such as there being a new pit fight accepting bets or exclusive group RP opportunities, so it is a good idea to join to stay 100% updated. Additionally, the vast majority of RPs are arranged through Discord - joining chat will keep you in the loop.

Rule Overview:
If someone is breaking these rules, please contact an online admin or newvoh & CittyLights.
• Treat others with respect and try to be inclusive.Basically, just don't be an ass. Listen to Staff.—— This is a positive space: leave drama/negativity/NSFW/controversial statements/politics/etc at the door!
—— Know that we do allow some profanity. If someone is making you uncomfortable, please DM an admin.
• No spamming / advertising / purposely annoying people. (Chill out, my dude.)
• Set your nickname so it reads "your OC's name (your dA username)".Very important. Guests are exempt.—— To change your nickname, type into the chat "/nick your-character's-name (your dA username)".
—— Alternatively, you may right-click your name and choose 'change nickname'.
—— Multiple characters? Use your main character or you can include both of your character's names.
• You will then be sorted and gain access to RP chatrooms,either by an admin or do it yourself!—— Any of the Staff (red names) can sort you. If it's taking awhile to be sorted or you're placed in the wrong faction, please feel free to @ one of them if you see them online so your role can be added.
—— Don't wanna wait? Please follow the "Player Set-Up" instructions in the #Information channel.
Highly recommended.
Punishment:
Hopefully we will never encounter an issue (we're pretty chill!), but rule-breakers will have consequences.
• Minor offenses: may be given 1-2 consecutive warnings before being temporarily kicked from the chat.
—— If admin is not present, please remind the offender that what they're doing isn't cool. They may not know.
—— However, if it continues, just ignore and contact an admin. Their minor offense may become a major one.
• Repeat and Major offenses: may be banned from the chat or, in extreme cases, the group as well.
—— In the case that you are banned just from the chat and want to repeal it, you must wait 30 days and then note the group with an apology + why you deserve chatting privileges. Admins will make a decision together.
EARN XP BY CHATTING:
Earn a small XP bonus by being active in the chat.
• Earn XP by talking in the chatroom! After you chat with us for a bit in Discord, you will receive a message from our friendly neighborhood bot informing you that you have earned some XP! Please screenshot that message, upload it somewhere, and provide a link to that screenshot on your character's tracker as proof. Happy chatting!
—— This, of course is entirely optional. If you'd prefer to just earn XP the old fashioned way, please ignore this!
—— If you have multiple characters you may choose to put the XP on any one of them.
—— You must have an approved character, set your nickname in the correct format, and have been sorted.
Things to not do:

• Advertise & Link other groups/ Discord Servers!
We know it can get exciting when you're having a conversation but do not advertise other groups/ discord servers in the SF Chatrooms ( even in offtopic! )
—— You will be given only 1 warning when linking other groups/ servers!
—— You will be given 3 warnings when discussing other groups in the Chat. - Take it to PM's!
• Bot Evasion - don't do it!
Certain words are set up to be blocked by our Server Bot. This was done for a reason. Using chatspeak and alternate spellings to dodge the bot will result in a single warning. Continuing to use banned words with alternate spelling will have your messages removed and risk you being kicked from the server!

• PG-13 Discussions, thank you
While the group is rated R for violence/ gore and moderate language the DISCORD CHAT is PG-13 and we would like to keep it that way. Mild crude humor is welcome but if you're asked to tone it down, please don't take offense. Basically if it won't fly in a Disney animated feature then it won't fly with us! [except the F-bomb. We love the F-bomb...]
Feel free to basically live in the Discord chat, make friends, etc. There is usually someone online 24/7. Heck, even get the app for your smartphone so you never miss another zombie-tornado meme! CLICK TO BEGIN!
