AA: Magic of Love

Happy New Year everybody!

I was planning to get some gift art done for the Holiday season. However I wasn't really up for art with a rough couple months so these pics I planned got pretty delayed. And since things are about to get crazy again I'm not sure when the rest of these will come either but they will eventually.

Anyway this is my first pic of the New Year. A gift for tifafenrir09 This is two of our newer ocs Harvey Blackquill and Agatha Gumshoe so I'll give a little about them.

Harvey my oc is the older brother of one of my other ocs Lilith, and the Prosecutor Simon Blackquill and the younger brother of Aura Blackquill. He is a Prosecutor like his brother and is pretty serious as far as the law is concerned. Yet the rest of the time he is very fun loving and eccentric loving to bake sweets and smother people with kindness. He also practices magic which he uses in and out of the courtroom. Skilled at slight of hand one of his favourite tricks is producing fire to throw at his opponents.

Agatha, Liz's oc is the younger sister of Detective Dick Gumshoe. She is kind and hard working and makes sure her brother stays fed with his low salary cuts and likes to help people out. She works as a security guard for the Gatewater Group and eventually becomes the Chief of Security during the later games in the series. Her boss the head of the Gatewater Group being another one of my newer ocs Malcolm Debeste but more on him another time.

Harvey and Agatha met during a trial Harvey was Prosecuting that was an appeal for Etta's father Marcus that she was defending. Harvey lost the case but Agatha enjoyed seeing his serious side in the courtroom and after became fond of his quirky nature as well.

We haven't done too much with the two yet but Agatha is in her Chief of Security attire here. So this would be later down the road for them. I imagine this as them being out on a date or just having fun and Harvey lights up the sky around them with a magical heart of fire to represent their love. He can be quite corny but Agatha loves him for it.

This would be a collab as far as the art goes. Liz partially did the art as this was originally with an old pairing for Harvey he didn't work out well with. So she drew Harvey and I edited pretty much everything on the girl to draw Agatha. The colour and background I did myself.
The shading of the lighting for twilight and the fire took a long time to add. I had much more fire at first but it didn't look right so I made it more subtle and think it turned out better this way.
