Personality

General Personality -Can be a little shy for the first few minutes while he tries to work out if he trusts you or not but he soon lets his guard down and eases up letting his more playful side show through. Generally, he is pretty upbeat about things, puts his shit behind him and strives to move onward and upward. He is highly competitive to the extent of taking risks to win through his horses' safety comes first he wouldn't do anything to put them in harm's way.

Other info -Despite his shyness Felix loves to perform and has gotten involved in doing slots in drag shows relatively recently. He used to experiment and play about with the idea in his teens but it was kept hidden from his family. Now that he has cut ties with his parents he is out to stick up a big middle finger to them. Loves to dress big bright and bold even in everyday life.
Felix is also working toward getting the qualifications he needs to teach riding. Just in case this whole competitive rider thing doesn't work out. It's a family occupation, always has been.

History

Felix grew up around horses, it has always been in his blood. Both his mother and father competed at the top of their game. His mother showjumping and his father Olympic level eventer. He was pushed from a young age to ride, to compete to keep up with that family name and ideal. When he was 10 his father suffered a career-ending accident leaving him barely able to ride for more than a few minutes let alone compete and it had a knock on effect on his mood, he grew more distant, irritable, unpredictable around his family. Though teaching seemed to help, it gave him something to do and to focus on so they carried on, Felix unofficially helping out with the lessons.
His mother retired after her husband's accident and so the pressure was on their son as the oldest to keep the family reputation right up there in the show circuit. Over the years the stress built, the pressure started to make him crack though it largely went unnoticed or was ignored by his parents. In his early teen's image issues started to arise and by the time he was 14 anorexia had taken hold, he did eventually get help and began to get healthier once he lived with his uncle. Nowadays food still causes some problems for him but he has come on from where he was in his teens.

He became a one to watch on the show circuit, riding for his country despite the underlying problems. It all ended rather suddenly at around 17 when his mother walked in on him with his then-boyfriend, he had been hiding his sexuality from them afraid of their reaction. Kristina didn't take it well there were tears, there was shouting but it was Stefan who took it the worst, his eldest son gay? He wasn't having it. It may have been his mental health or it could just be Felix making trying to make excuses for him but his reaction landed Felix in the hospital for a few weeks, they'll never know just how far it would have gone if he hadn't been pulled off. His mum cleared out his room while he was in the hospital and came across the start of his drag and at that point, he was pretty much cut off. His uncle took him in and he lived with them for a few years until he became aware his parents were ousting them from the family through association with their son.

It was time to move on, to get away from their hold so Felix set the past behind him and headed to Northern Ireland, feeling upbeat and determined. This was a new start, he could be who he wanted to do what he wanted to do and not have to give a flying fuck what anyone thought. So now he lives to show up his parents, be a pain in their side by rising back up through the ranks of competition to make a name for himself once again and get into the public eye.
