Species concept

One of the members from the fantasy writers group I belong to on Facebook asked if I would draw a concept image for his species. I don't generally do art for free, but I needed a project to work on last week and I like to help out other writers.

I don't know what they're called, but the writer is really happy with the image, so woo!
