Sign-ups are closed!

After 13 weeks, sign-ups for the Summer Secret Santa 2018 event are closed!

I'm no longer accepting new wishlist applications now that the sign-up deadline has passed. Furthermore, any invites to join this group and submit your wishlist beyond this deadline have been withdrawn.

Right up to this announcement, 80 participants have submitted their wishlist applications in the month of May alone. Over the last 13 weeks, this group has received

352 deviants joining as members
361 deviants watching this group

Since members had interested in participating, 340 participants have submitted their wishlists during the sign-up period. Here's how this all breaks down:

245 Humanoid participants (beginner: 15 participants, intermediate: 163 participants, advanced: 67 participants)
74 Mixed participants
21 Anthro/Feral participants

And now that sign-ups are closed, you can't change what you would like on your wishlist. If for some reason, you accidentally deleted the link to your wishlist journal or your wishlist entry on your Sta.sh, you will receive a note asking you to provide an updated link to your wishlist.

If you didn't get your wishlist submitted by the deadline, but if you still would like to participate, there is no need to worry!

You can redeem yourself as a volunteer for a giftless participant (if necessary) or you can participate in the upcoming Secret Santa 2018 event. Sign-ups for the next event will open on Monday, August 27, 2018. That's 92 days from now!

Later on, I will be organising the pairings (between the giving participant and the receiving participant). As early as tomorrow morning, I will be contacting active contributors and co-founders to get this event underway. You'll be receiving a note with the complete details of who your receiving participant is along with a link to the receiving participant's wishlist and most importantly, the deadline to complete the gift drawing this week.

Now, please bear with me that due to the shear number of messages that we'll be sending out, deviantART will think that it is spam and we're gonna have to wait a while before it's time to send anymore more notes.

Once you get assigned to do a gift drawing for your partner, you can't change your mind and back out from the event unless it is for a good reason. If you back out after pairs are organised, you will be spared from a ban, but you will not be allowed to participate in the Secret Santa 2018 event unless you redeem yourself as a volunteer.

And now that most of you are going on Summer vacation, I bet that you'll have lots of free time doing drawing for your giftee!

Most importantly, If you have any questions or found any errors regarding the Summer Secret Santa 2018 participants and/or the wishlist, please let me know and we'll get things all sorted out.

Update 1: All of the pairings have been generated. Co-founders and contributors will receive notes of who their receiving participant will be first. After that, we will send you notes to members of who their receiving participant will be along with a link to your receiver's wishlist with a link to the characters that they're requesting.

Update 2: Admin assignment distribution notes have been completed. Co-founders and contributors have received notes with the name of the receiving participant and a link to the receiver's wishlist. Later today, we will send out assignment distribution notes to the rest of the members who participated in this event and get the Summer Secret Santa 2018 event underway!
