Juore Reveal #03

Been pretty excited to debut some Juore Regional variants! I've got 10 lines (with at least 1 from every generation) to show off, and due to these two both being from the Sinnoh Region and relatively early in the Juore Dex, I went with Juorian Glameow and Juorian Buizel.

Glameow and Purugly have always felt like they were missing something to me. I wasn't quite sure what set them apart from Meowth and Skitty before them. Considering Purugly is called 'The Tiger Cat Poke'mon', I think it was a huge missed opportunity to not have pushed those qualities further. So, the Juorian variant of Glameow is much more wilder than its domestic counterpart. Over time, it also harnessed the electricity that built up in its hair (a result of not being groomed in the mountains.) Eventually, came the result the region knows today. 

And Buizel was an easy ice-type for me. Considering there are already types of snow weasels and ferrets around the world. I also designed his buoy to look like a scarf (which was originally a deep red and white). But was changed late to a dark teal which fit the design better imo. They shifted from the water-type to the ice-type, when the streams and rivers they lived in ran too far south (cold part of the region) and they had to adapt to live amongst the frozen creeks and riverbeds. 

Let me know what you guys think of these two! And feel free to have guesses on which other Poke'mon I might be donning variations for. I purposefully picked mons that don't get too much exposure by other artists.
