[ PC ] : Yuu Eldran

Before coming to Aequalis and becoming a mercenary, Yuu started off as a slave amongst other captured and enslaved members of her kind. She had been a slave ever since she was young. Her wings were ripped from her from a young age as a form of humiliation on herself, taking her ability to fly before she even learnt how to. During her years as a slave, Yuu was passed onto other slavers to another for months on end, each with their own methods of torture and abusive treatments that left scars on her wherever she went until she eventually ended up sent into a fight pit with several other slaves such as herself. From there, everything was kill or be killed if a slave was desperate for freedom. She couldn't trust anyone in the pit, no matter who or what they are, the idea of one person turning around to stab her in the back was one that she had zero intention of risking. As months within the pit increased along with her survival, everyone including herself grew more and more distrusting and hostile of one another, until one night Yuu decided that to escape on her own. It wasn't an easy feit for her to pull, certainly not one that was free of bloodshed either but she managed and escaped into the wilderness with nothing to hold her back.

It was a struggle to adjust to the life of now being a free slave, decent work was hard to come by especially when discrimination lurks around every corner of every town she entered but she eventually managed to find work to stabilize herself financially, work as a lone mercenary, a sword for hire as you will. She had the experience in combat to know how to handle and take care of herself, so why not make a living out of it and take on work for it.

As time passed, Yuu eventually stumbled upon Aequalis, a place the peaked her intrigue when she heard it was a place to encourage the coexistence and cooperation between all races. Though she has doubts that such a thing would happen, Yuu chose to stay in the town and see it for herself if anything good is to come of it.
