Real Name: The Horrid
Powers: Mutant Physiology; Regenerative Healing Factor; Natural Weaponry; and is capable of asexual reproduction, and by that I mean it creates a small brood of a kind of spider/slime organisms, and these organisms are capable of merging with it's prey on a genetic level. These composite beings end up connected to The Horrid in the form of a hivemind, though since the genetics of these composite abominations are very unstable, a lack of a connection to the hivemind is possible.

If you guys remember a while back, I submitted Reddie Redback and her siblings, the clones of Creepy Crawler of The Weird Boys. And in her origin section, Reddie and her sibling's eggs were wrapped in a layer of human/spider flesh when Creepy's DNA was being cloned before the eggs have hatched. Though there is one question, whatever happened to that layer of mutated flesh?

Well after the eggs were removed from the flesh, the flesh was disposed of as it was considered waste after the spiderlings were born. The flesh ended up in Sargasso's sewers underneath The Cyberpunk District, where it got exposed to a floating chunk of Sargassite. The flesh's exposure to the stone's radiation caused it to start violently mutate, making it grow in size, limbs and an overall humanoid shape.

The resulting abomination was a violent mass of spider and human flesh capable of reproducing asexually through the ball of webbing in it's gut area, and what it can give birth to can be best described as The Facehuggers from Aliens mixed with John Carpenter's The Thing and Marvel's Symbiotes. I say the later two because these smaller abominations can merge with their prey down to the genetic level, and unlike Marvel's Symbiotes, these creatures are nearly impossible to remove.

And the composite creatures are connected to The Horrid in the form of a hivemind, removing what individual thought and identity they had. Though since the DNA of these creatures is unstable, some of the victims don't end up losing what makes them an individual, though they still have some of The Horrid's thought cross their mind from time to time.
