Let's take a look at some of my old drawings. Have I improved?

2012 - Crescent Flash 1 & 2

What went right: The costume design! This is a non-canon Sailor V outfit based on the eternal senshi from the Sailor Moon manga.
What went wrong: I didn't really know how to use SAI, sketchy hair, flat boring lineart, anatomy mistakes, lighting undefined.
Why are there two? After the first drawing, I asked you guys for critique and made some changes.

2015 - Sailor V Collar

What went right: I got a copy of Clip Studio Paint and learned how to use the lineart tools! I could ink long smooth lines easily.
What went wrong: I didn't want to invest a lot of time into this, so I rushed it and kept it really simple. I could have pushed myself more.

2018 - Love Me Chain!

Sailor V: Love Me Chain by mishihime
What went right: Clean lineart with variation, better anatomy, defined shadows / highlights, character has emotion.
What went wrong: I could have pushed myself even further! Maybe I should have drawn Alan, Ace, Katarina, or London?

Process Tutorial

I have a detailed tutorial explaining exactly how I created this picture.

Final Thoughts

Improvement didn't come from just changing my process. I also invested into getting a better PC & Tablet (which took many years to obtain.) I also made lineart my focus goal for about 2 or 3 years. I study art fundamentals, anatomy, color, perspective, proportion, etc. I'm also a strong supporter of critique.

When I started drawing digitally, I couldn't even draw a strong smooth line. Now lineart is my strength.
As long as you don't give up there is always hope that you will improve and get better.

I wanted to comment on how wonderful your lines are, and I hope that I can somehow have lines as clean as those. I use FireAlpaca!
