The City

[Map of the City]

[The City]

Sylvana’s Palace (the capital)
All government takes place in Sylvana’s Palace. Originally the Castle de Infugeo, the newly refurbished palace is made of shiny marble and gold. It is the capital of Sakura City.

Barracks
This is where all lower class military personnel live. Since Sakura City is a military-centric state, the barracks are quite large. They are located close to the palace.

Civilian Homes
The citizens need a place to live too. There is both suburban style housing and apartments that the citizens of Sakura City can live in. However, it isn’t uncommon for the military to search your house. Please have your ID ready.

Downtown
Most of all illegal activity takes place in the downtown sector of Sakura City. During the day, it seems to be a pretty standard city street. But at night it lights up, advertising all types of promiscuous activity.

Mainstreet
Any reputable business is set up on mainstreet or the surrounding blocks. On mainstreet there’s the Sakura City Public Library, the SCPD headquarters, the Sakura City Bank, and a recently renovated church.

The Plaza (Town Square)
In the center of town is the town square. All festivities that occur in the city happen here. The streets of the plaza are lined with sakura trees, which the city is named for. This is where most street performers make their money.

Abandoned Sector
On the east side of the city, there's a slew of abandoned buildings and railways that lead into the abandoned railway station. There is no military occupancy in the abandoned sector but sometimes patrols are ordered to do a little bit of cleaning. Any trespasser will be shot on sight.

Military Outposts
Throughout the city, there are several military outposts. The occupation of the Sakura City militia is something that the citizens of Sakura City are used to. Some of the taller buildings have military outposts on top of them.

The Docks
Sakura City spans all the way down to the coast. The docks are where shipments are received from other cities. There is a large import/export business that runs them. The docks are for those who work for the company only. All others will be shot. Please have your ID ready.

STANFORD INC.
The androids of the city had to come from somewhere! STANFORD INC has been in Sakura City longer than anyone can remember. This company is one of the few big businesses that are allowed in Sakura City, albeit under strict military watch. Anyone found illegally on the property of STANFORD INC will be shot.

[The Abandoned Railways]

Kiara’s Base Camp
On one side of the abandoned railway station is Kiara’s side of the camp. This is where the people who follow Kiara’s rule and like her better tend to hang around.

Medical Bay
Got an injury? The medical bay of the rebel camp is small and understocked, but it’s the best they can do. It’s one of the few places in camp that have actual “beds.”

General Sleeping Quarters
Most of the rebel camp sleeps in a designated area just for the bulk of the population. The rebel camp isn’t exactly large and spacious and it’s definitely not luxurious. But the rebels make do with what they can. The lack of privacy seems to be frustrating though.

Occupied Train Cars
A little ways off from the meeting place is a group of train cars that some of the rebels have taken residence in. They aren’t comfortable by any means, but they’re shelter from the wind and cold.

Locust’s Base Camp
The other side of the camp is where Locust and his family stay. They occupy one of the abandoned train cars and have made a small fire pit to gather around.

Ration Storage
On Kiara’s side of the camp is the ration storage. Since she organizes most of the rations and the means of getting food, she thought it would make sense to have it close so nobody decides to just help themselves.

Meeting Place
Even though Locust and Kiara have their differences, the center of the rebel camp is considered a neutral place for all rebels. It’s where most executive group decisions take place.

[The Outskirts]

The Forest
Most of the surrounding area of Sakura City is wilderness. The city is in a secluded location from all other metropolitan areas. There’s only one way in and one way out.

The Lake
There is a large lake and clearing in the forests of Sakura City. It isn’t far from the city location and it’s where the Vernal Equinox Festival is held. There’s rumor that there’s a benevolent spirit that haunts the lake, causing whoever to wander by to become instantly calm.

The East River
To the east of the city in the forest is a large, but for the most part calm, river. Over the river spans the abandoned train track bridge which used to lead out of the city.

East River Train Track Bridge (Abandoned)
The train track bridge that spans over the east river has been long abandoned, even before Sylvana’s rule. The end of the bridge seems to have collapsed at some time into the water.

The West Gully
To the west of Sakura City, there’s a deep gully that seems to span down forever. The river at the bottom still flows thanks to the runoff from the mountains. Don’t fall down though, because there’s no way back up.

West Gully Train Track Bridge (Outgoing/Incoming)
This is the current active train track bridge. The trains that run on it are for shipment purposes only. It’s more modern and has a security checkpoint at the start of the gully. Get caught trespassing and they throw you over.

Mountain Pass
The only way into Sakura City as a person is through the mountain pass. The mountain pass is quite a journey and has semi-frequent rockfalls. It’s too dangerous to go through on foot.

Occupied Guard posts
At the entrance of the mountain pass and at the city limits, there are several military guard posts. They’re there to spot and eliminate any rebel threat. That being said, if you’re loyal, you have nothing to worry about. Please have your ID ready.

Road Into The City
There is only one road into the city and it goes through the guarded mountain pass. It’s long and winding but it leads you directly into the center of the city.

Sakura Grove
Somewhere between the lake and the west gully is the sakura grove. It’s said to be an ancient and mystical place that doesn’t seem to have a real concrete location. It’s said to be guarded by something mythical.
