For this week I am happy to showcase some gorgeous Abstract Photography.

There's something fascinating and contradictive about this medium. Abstract art by definition strays away from referencing objects in the real world, while photography is the epitome of capturing objects as they exist and are perceived by our senses. Combining the two seems at first glance impossible yet there are artists who have found a way to turn the objective around and see beyond their palpable nature, to transform them into compositions of color and shape that can be so removed from their source it might become unrecognizable to us.
