Here comes the next one ^^/
I am MUCH happier with his hair this time. It looks very soft and as thin and straight as it's supposed to be. In general, I feel like I improved, which is good, of course

My plan is to paint a lot of portraits from photos or drawings I like to get to know all the colours and shadings and so on
Sadly I don't know how long I worked on this one, might have been about 15 hrs. I regret it's only 1400x1400 px large, feels to small. My last drawing of James has been 2000 px wide.

Als ich das Painting gesehen habe dachte ich "wow! sehr beeindruckend. die Lichtverhältnisse, Schattierung, Colorierung und alles passt einfach super!"

Tatsächlich hat sich an dem Gedanken auch nichts verändert, als ich es mir länger und genauer angeschaut habe. Es ist sehr realistisch, das Design scheint zunächst einfach, aber es passt einfach perfekt zusammen.
Die Haare sind die sehr gut gelungen, auch der Gesichtsausdruck ist wunderbar, Die Färbung des Schattens - also dieses grünlich/bläuliche macht das Portrait umso interessanter. Mir gefallen die leichten Strukturen auf der Haut durch die Art und Weise wie du den Pinsel benutzt hast. Bei noch längerem hinsehen und "auseinander nehmen" des Paintings hätte ich gesagt, dass das Ohr und die Lippen im vergleich zum Rest am ehesten noch painterly wirken. Die Lippen wirken etwas "spitz zulaufend", aber das ist nur eine Kleinigkeit, die für mich so wirkt. (und auch nur auffällt, wenn man wirklich intensiv die Details anschaut.
Alles in allem ist das aber ein sehr gelungenes Bild. Die Mühe hat sich definitiv ausgezahlt und ich bin wirklich beeindruckt!
