Roadranger Monsters 1

Description

Okay, THESE monsters aren't for either Comicger or Gamermen, oh no! These monsters are made for the net Super Animal Squadron series that's coming after those two, "Traffic Squadron: Roadranger." When I talked to :iconjcfanfics: about the theme of the monsters for this series, he said that they could be alien outlaws who hang out with Velocity Star, and are sent out when the gang puts a price on the Roadranger's heads. When he told me that the theme for the monsters was a biker gang, my immediate thought was "They gotta be wearing leather jackets to fit the theme." Turns out it wasn't the case, but I still wanted to share my ideas for monsters for the next SAS series.

I have about 20 monsters this time around, and the first two I'm uploading are Bansheet and Sabre Marlin. Bansheet is a banshee monster wrapped in colorful ghostly sheets to ensnare her foes. She can also possess inanimate objects to confuse the Roadrangers, and can even possess any of the Roadrangers themselves. But, her main gimmick is to ensnare the Roadrangers with ghost sheets, rendering them temporarily helpless.
Sabre Marlin is a swordfish monster with a literal nose sword that can slice through anything. He's also a highly skilled swordsman, wielding various forms of swords and knives to use against the Roadrangers. His Scimitars are particularly strong enough to cut through the Roadrangers' Ranger suits, and can even throw tiny daggers as a long range attack. And, just like his real life counterpart, he's also very fast to catch up with the Roadrangers.

Notes:
1. Bansheet's main influence was actually the Banshee roller coaster at Kings Island ( www.gannett-cdn.com/-mm-/a5eb7… ), which is definitely a recurring theme with most of my monster ideas.
2. Bansheet's abilities are vaguely similar to Spectre Sheet from "Medievalger," only I think she's an improvement over him.
3. Sabre Marlin's sword gimmick is similar to Blade from the "Masters of the Universe" movie ( www.oocities.org/area51/crater… ).
4. Sabre Marlin also bears a bit of a resemblance to Slash from "Street Shark," especially with the nose horn ( i.ytimg.com/vi/VrCvqfs_ORo/hqd… ).

Well, those are the first two out of twenty for my Roadranger monsters. Hope you like it, :iconeli-j-brony: and :iconjcfanfics:
And, to everyone else, whaddaya think?

I'm not quite sure if I'll remember to include these two when the series begins, but they are both nice designs.
