Colleagues [ATG08-30]

Ah ha! The ultimate clickbait! Now that I have his style, people will think I'm VanillaGhosties and I will get millions of views and watchers. And it only took me 7 hours to make!...Who am I kidding? It would have been faster to add a giant arrow pointing at RaRa.

Ahhhh, another year of ATG done. I'm sooooo happy it's over. This time was certainly an illustration of just how cruddy 2018 has already been to me. I guess with all the inconsistencies and drawing blocks due to indecision really shows just how much stress has built up inside me. I was so lucky to get a break from real life to just be by myself with the time for art. Although I did not have consistency all the way, I'm rather proud of all the design practice I tried. I've done armour, landscapes, dragons, guns, humanoid, humanoid, stylized noire, exaggerated perspective and composition, dynamic posing, and just basic practice of drawing efficiently. I'm also pretty glad I was able to survive all 30 prompts!...and on time (well mostly through last minute submissions)! I sorta regret not making more ATG extras as I had some ideas, I'll try to make them later.

My goodness, VanillaGhosties, this would have been less divisive if you had an OC. At least it sorta makes sense since both of them are music pones. Cute pones in nice, smart gowns.

Anyways, VanillaGhosties as you probably have heard, is an amazing artist who clearly excelled greatly from several ATG and his own discipline. We've been friends for awhile, and although I give him guff over him surpassing well beyond me, he's helped me with inspiration and support as a wonderful friend.

This piece was both a goal and an experiment. I knew I wanted to do some quickpaint for ATG this time, so there; and I really was curious if I could reach the level of such an artist. I've tried to imitate his style of anatomy and colouring, but you can probably tell I incorporated a little of my style. _{Obviously I stiffed on drawing individual hair strands, because that would take awhile}
