Personality: Kumara is anything but a “sweet potato pie” as her name implies. This spirited mare is STRONG willed and rather wild. Harnessing her power and energy is like taming a hurricane. However, once you’ve earned her respect (emphasis on the EARNED, Kumara will not give respect easily) she is an amazing mount with a lot of heart and courage. She will give 110% every time (assuming she isn’t biting someone’s fingers off at the moment.)
Quirks: Kumara often has her ears pinned back, giving her a “grouchy mare” resting face. Kumara is quick to take a nip out of a person or give them a swift kick, therefore, all her stall and paddock gaits have large posted signs that say “BEWARE, I bite!”
Favorite treats: Anything salty: chips, crackers, canned fish, etc.
Dislikes: People telling her what to do. Strangers trying to approach her. Peppermints.
