Fears: Spiders, heights (specifically standing on top of sheer cliffs), Indian take-out (she once suffered food poison from eating such and will no longer touch it), smokers

Short bio:
Brijeka's parents met in their first year of university studying arts and accidentally got pregnant after a night of drunken partying. They decided against an abortion, opting instead to raise the child whom they named 'Brijeka' (Tempia's #1 baby name for girls, 3rd year in a row). This significantly delayed Brijeka's mother's university degree and she ended up blaming Brijeka for this despite having another two children later on (a boy named Zette and a girl named Imojen) before finally finishing it and becoming a journalist. As a result, Brijeka was always treated less favourably than her younger siblings and resides in the smallest bedroom of their house. Further to her outgoing mother's dismay, Brijeka barely spoke until she started elementary school and made no real friends, always playing by herself.

Around the age of 10, just after coming back from a family holiday to North America, she was severely bullied by another girl at school named Zerreck. This culminated in Zerreck pushing Brijeka down some stairs one day, almost fracturing her skull, and Brijeka bringing a knife to school for revenge but deciding against it at the last minute. Brijeka was moved into another class and the issues subsided.

In 2018, Brijeka started high school at TEK (Tempian acronym for South Tana High) and become friends with Pjette Vaneska who had gone to her elementary school. Pjette had once been friends with Zerreck and partook in Brijeka's bullying but shied away as it got worse and worse. Ever since, Pjette had felt bad about it and wanted to make it up to Brijeka. Progressing through 2018, Brijeka took up learning the recorder, met a boy named Kaide who enjoyed abusing her until she broke his nose, developed a crush for another boy and experienced many problems associated with growing up. Brijeka looks forward to 2019 hoping that it will be better year than 2018.

Other traits: Cigarette burn on upper left arm (punishment by her dad for fighting at school. Had the unintended consequence of causing him to give up smoking after hearing her scream), blue streak in fringe (dyed), socially awkward, hallucinates, can't eat overly spicy food (upsets her stomach), very good with numbers
