[AWAKENING TRIAL] singing in the shower by 404msg [REGISTRATION TRIAL] Well MetThey weren’t looking.  That was the issue.  If they were asked where they had been looking, they would have needed to take a moment.  Lips pursed, eyes cast upwards as if the sky had answers, and a twitchy paw tentatively scratching at the side of their cheek – or perhaps the top of their head.  Something that would indicate a deep pondering, a thoughtful reverie.  In the end the answer would have some reluctantly, a single word spoken as if the very existence of it surprised the speaker.  A small ‘nothing’ as an answer, full of wonder as it’d be.  For the kryptox eyes were wandering, but their brain absorbed little of the information provided by their eyeballs.  The signals were generated, to be sure.  The neurons fired, certainly.  The connections were as close to flawless as biological systems can be.  But, alas, the kryptox’ mind was elsewhere – cast s [REGISTRATION TRIAL] A Helping HandIt was a cacophony of objects.  A loud gathering of items hoarded from ages past, present, and future.  Walls lined floor to ceiling with shelves piled-high with all matter of objects, ranging from old and dusty, to new and sparkly.  There had to be an order to the collection, but Ame’s first impression was that of pure disorganized chaos.  A potent madness seemed to cackle behind the harmless knick knacks – the rusted shears were a warning, the little pottery figures positively sinister, the abandoned bells a cry of terror.  They walked into the room only because not doing so would be rude.  Rude because Agnes had sworn to help them.  Rude because the vice-like grip on their arm demanded Ame’s attention and compliance. 
 
So Ame went along, down the cobblestones, past the picket-fence, through the garden of flowering plants, and into the little round door that made up the entrance of [REGISTRATION TRIAL] The Gift of GivingHe had a way with words – or at least, Ame thought so.  Was bound to think so; had an obligation to it. Because while Ciardha was steadfast and focused throughout, the kryptox was certainly not.  They would never admit to being distracted, but it was a profound truth.  Distracted by the rumble of his voice, the line of his jaw, the bounce of his curls, the ripple of his muscles, the majesty of his posture.  He was a sweeping column bearing the roof of the world, and they were his loyal companion.  Or would like to think they were, in any case.  Because while Ciardha talked, and Ame admired, the balance was set.
