Event Prompt | Your Worst Nightmare - Phase Two

To earn yourself some more guesses for the Clue portion of the event, you may enter this month's prompt!

Don't Forget:

• Remember, all prompt entries must be either be an art RP piece or a minimum 500 word literature RP in order to qualify.  Don't forget to include your normal skill point earnings in the RP's description, as well as the additional +1 Mini-Event Response bonus!
• All responses will need to be submitted to the Prompts/Dungeons RP folder & the Prompt Submission Form in order to be entered!  Select the 'Your Worst Nightmare' Prompt!
• You may enter up to three times total with your characters to earn additional guesses for the Clue portion.  This means that you may enter with the same character up to three times or once with up to three different characters to earn an additional guess for the Clue portion of the event.  Each entry will earn you not only an extra guess for Clue but also the chance to grab some delicious Halloween-themed candy skill-boost tokens!  These candy tokens will be added to your Token Bank, so may be used on any character that you wish.

Event Prompt | Your Worst Nightmare

You know that feeling, the one where it feels like all the blood has drained from your face and your skin grows cold.  Your hands are clammy, your heart begins to beat faster as your adrenaline builds...  You are filled with the desire to run, to do anything it takes to get away from it - it being your worst nightmare!  Depict your character either waking from a terrifying nightmare or experiencing something super spooky/scary!

• Special Notes: +1 Clue guess per entry; limit of 3 additional guess entries per MEMBER, not per character.  You may continue to enter the prompt to earn more Candy Tokens without an additional Event Guess as many times as you'd like.  +1 Token Raffle ticket/entry (no limit).

The Endless OceanSkuld didn’t know how long he had been flying for. Hours? Days even? It felt like it had been an eternity. The ocean spread out beneath him from one horizon to the other. There was nothing but blue below him, and blue above. His wings ached with the effort it took to continue flying and his chest burned. Each breath caught in his throat as he pushed himself onward, trying to keep in the air. There was nowhere to land but the water, and with how tired he was he doubted he could keep himself afloat. ‘How long can I keep going?’’ He thought, for he did not dare to waste his breath on speaking the words out loud. The cool, salt air was almost overwhelming as he slowly lost height. The waters below grew ever nearer. Waves rose up beneath him as if the water were rising to pull him down faster, and perhaps it was.
With a sudden gasp Skuld plummeted towards the water, his wings having finally given out on him. The air whipped past him and as he fell. Then he str Reality and NightmaresCrag drifted through the shallow water, letting the water ripple behind him as he moved. It was a dark night, with stars but no blessed moon to watch over him. He had no aim, no purpose, no needs or desires. He simply kept moving.
He didn't recognize the place, but that didn't bother him. Small islands and sandbars came and went but he passed them by. He didn't steer towards the depths but kept to the coast where he could walk along the ground with his head above water. Watching. Waiting. Drifting.
A voice called out in the darkness, but suddenly it was day. "Crag!" his mother's voice said. "Crag, come here and look at this!"
Ever the dutiful son, Crag lumbered out of the water to join her and see what she wanted to show him. He wished he had his cart nearby, but it seemed this wasn't where he'd entered the water so it wasn't at hand. He hunkered down and dragged himself along with his powerful flipper-legs, leaving a trail in the sand where his heavy body dug gauges into it.

Sunlight blossomed through gauzy curtains in the archway of a high, high nest in the Gardens. Whatever the things were made of had to be hideously expensive, but life surrounded by Saraphem tended to include many luxurious things. Vafara stood before a massive sheet of polished metal in the soft sunshine. Her reflection looked back at her, tinted golden by the metal surface. Large blue eyes that were, for once, free of dropping dark feathers slid over the scene.
Vafa looked resplendent. Her coat was immaculate, her various wings glossy and smooth. She was laden with elegant and copious golden jewelry and shimmering gauzy fabrics that accentuated the lithe muscles of her form. Vafa’s mane was braided with beads of precious stone and more gold into an intricate plait.
“You’re ready, dear.” A voice called softly from the archway.

Cold adrenaline filled his body. Wing beats and screeching filled the air. Scorch watched with frustration and a growing sense of helplessness as the massive eagle they’d intended to take down shook off the heaviest of their clings. Without the massive queen to weigh down its gigantic right wing, the dumb bird began to whip up dust and wind, flapping frantically. The remaining clings let out yelps of surprise as their prey began to struggle more violently.
This was all going wrong. Life as a Talonbait in a nutshell.
If they didn’t get some more weight onto the eagle, or disable its free wing somehow, it was going to take off with four other clings still riding its back. Two bait kits had already been savaged by the eagle’s claws when it swooped down to grab a meal. The safety of their home was quiet as mother and daughter were curled up next to each other with the night sky looming over their heads. Ravette’s head was resting against her daughter’s as they both were in a deep sleep. They were able to feel the familiar warmth that came from each other, something that would make it difficult for the both of them to sleep without for the time being. Ravette knew that she would have to let Freya have her own life eventually, but the little lady was still young for now. It would be a few years until Freya would have the chance to have a child of her own. A child that was going to carry royal blood just like Freya was even though her mother was a commoner. But Judas didn’t regret having a child with Ravette, the chestnut doe knew that he was grateful to have her. The bond that they had so far proved that.

The golden stagling’s eyes flew open in a flash of blue and, like a shot, the young prince was up and out of his bed.  Despite having just been asleep, his sides were heaving and his hide was damp with sweat, as if he had just come back from a long and hard sprint through the forest.  Heavy breaths were taken and released in soft snorts as his eyes, wide with fear, adjusted to his surroundings.
His room, one of many in the upper levels of the Austerian Royal Palace, was dark due to the late hour. A Future of Uncertainties - Your Worst NightmareFor many years, Zuhayr had little to fear in his life.

The Token Raffle - Phase Four

This year, we are handing out lots and lots of goodies to those who enter the event!  However, the only way to earn tickets for the Token raffle for this event is to enter Phases 1-3 of the H-Anom-oween event.  In addition to the usual tokens that are raffled off during these sorts of events, you will also earn yourself a chance at winning a few Cursed/Halloween-themed Item tokens that will be exclusive to this event, as well as something very special...

For those of you that are/aren't aware, our current Cross tokens only allow for a cross of two herds (for example, a 50 x 50 cross or a 75 x 25 cross).  For this event, though, we are auctioning off a one-of-a-kind Fertile, Triple Crossbred Starter token!  This means that you may create a character with not two but three bloodlines to its name!  Not only that, but this character will retain its fertility, meaning that it can, should you so decide, have the ability to father/mother children! -gasp-

• Fertile, Triple Crossbred Starter Token: A fertile starter token to create a crossbred of up to three bloodlines!  
• Direwolf Pup: This pup seems to have lost its mother!  It will grow quite large and be quite dangerous but, if well-trained, it could be an invaluable companion upon your character's travels!
• Black Kitten: This little kitten is simply adorable, although where it came from you can't be sure!  It is quite playful and already seems to be adept at hunting mice.  What a cutie!
• Everlasting Spider Venom: This vial of spider venom never seems to empty, no matter how much you use!  It can be used as both a powerful poison or form the base of an equally powerful anti-venom.  
• Cursed Locket Necklace: This necklace is clearly an antique.  While quite beautifully made, whoever wears it becomes quite restless and will feel an intense urge to travel the world in search of something... or is it someone?
• Tattered Pirate Flag: This thing has seen better days but, despite its frayed edges, the skull-and-bones are still vibrant and clear, although it is odd that it seems to glow green at night...  Use it to craft some sort of attire for your character and earn +1 Quest Item when completing dungeons/prompts!
• A Whole Pumpkin: This uncarved beauty is just begging to be used - either as a pie or as a decorative piece!  By making a pumpkin pie (or some other pumpkin-themed food item, we won't judge) and consuming it, you can earn your character a permanent +5 Strength Skill Cap Boost (Cannot exceed 115 Points max).
