HERE'S TO AN AMAZINGLY SKILLED ARTIST THAT DRAWS ALL THESE BREATHTAKING BACKGROUNDS AND IS MASTERING THE ANATOMY OF LITERALLY EVERY SPECIES POSSIBLE:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Nightrizer

Please know that most of my inspiration for backgrounds is derived from my "amazing backgrounds" folder here on DeviantArt and that a majority of the drawings in there are by you. :dummy:
I admire each and every painting you make and am always blown away by the general result and how perfectly you master all principles of art! My goal is to get where you are one day.

Concerning the drawing, I needed Kayrea (such a beautiful name) to be a wolf - her sleek shape and design fit so perfectly to that of a strolling loner that is rarely spotted and always quiet.
I absolutely love these red accents in her design, which is the exact reason I drew the entire background in a green tone: so that she wouldn't stand out and instead increase the mystery; and that only the light and the red markings added a little emphasis to make the drawing more interesting.

I hope you'll like it and wish you more presents and an amazing day (and year)! :la: :star:

And to finish off, here's my process to anyone who's interested:

Heyo I'm adding this criticism here too : D

Firstly I'd like to say that I really like the colour scheme you created here, it gives such a warm but also a little mystical feeling with the green!
I'm focusing on the composition. This artwork has nice base for a good composition but it needs little work!
The focus of the viewer goes right away to the character, but the character's gaze doesn't meet anything; I'd add something there as a secondary focus point. This helps to keep the viewer interested in the picture!
Secondly, you seem to have both really vertical elements (the character, tree trunks), and diagonal elements (grass, twigs, the windy atmosphere behind). I'd maybe try to commit more to either diagonal or vertical elements, it could make the composition feel more complete and uniform!

I had little rush to finish it, but hopefully you get something out of it!
