Description

Parcel Knight, The Recycled Retainer
Real Name: #1439 aka Carson Boardain
Powers: Paper Mimicry; Body Storage; Has access to a nexus dimension called "The Warehouse" and has a great sense of navigation while in this nexus.
First Appearance: Deviantart (10/2/2018)
Equipment:
-A mechanical arm made from recycled metal that has a mace hand attached to a line of elastic straps so it can also function as an extendable flail.
-A cardboard/electronic gauntlet that works as both a GPS that only works in "The Warehouse" and a portable database containing the data on entities from worlds that are connected to The Warehouse.
-A backpack that contains objects that Carson had collected from other worlds.

Technically you could say that this isn't Halloween related, but I could counter-argue saying that people have made costumes and props with things like cardboard and paper-mache. However the main thing about this character is the introduction of the concept of The Warehouse.

To best describe the nexus known as The Warehouse, picture every multiverse as an individual apartment building. Each room in the apartment building is a separate universe and the hallways are the main pathways that connects each of these universes together. Now picture every ventilation shaft, the space between the walls, the plumbing that leads to the faucets, all the minute holes that you hardly take notice of 95% of the time as an entranceway itself. Now picture all those crevasses, pipes and shafts being connected to the apartment building next to the first one, and to the one next to that, and so on and so on.

The Warehouse is in essence, all the hidden shortcuts that allows dimensions to interconnect with one another without both attracting unnecessary attention from those of a higher power, and unneeded collateral damage to the dimensional barrier when one were to blitz from one room, or even one apartment building to another, with a sledgehammer.

To find the entranceway into The Warehouse, you have to find the door. Which usually looks like a regular old cardboard box, one so unassuming that you stick it in an alleyway with the rest of the clutter and the average person would never even notice it at first glance. The doorway that the box contains is only small enough so that an average person could just enter it by crawling through.

And the ones that can traverse the expansive passageways are groups like The Parcel Knights, entities made up of materials like cardboard, newspapers, scrap metal, etc, similar to how some Basurians were created as The Knights exist in the part of The Warehouse directly connected to The Super-Sargasso Sea. Especially connections inbetween different variants of The Ever-Changing City and other settlements across The Sea.

And since The Warehouse is one of the few ways out of The Sea and into other realities and out of sight from the forces in charge of it, this nexus can be used as a way for crossovers to happen from between Sargasso and a world beyond it's borders.

This character was made using Hero Machine 3.

As D3AD-MAD-HATT3R said,The Warehouse is certainly an interesting concept and I think that Parcel Knight is an equally interesting character! Very creative!

I'll use both Parcel Knight and The Warehouse for some of my stories for public domain characters such as Spacehawk,Astro-Man,Captain Atomic(who I'll be renaming Atomic Wanderer) and Linkara's Lightbringer(who as I'e said before,I'll be renaming Lightmaker)and the public domain group,Space Patrol(but with Space Patrol,it's going to be an all-new version of the original group made up of a bunch domain Super Heroes-pretty much a public domain Avengers or Justice League) . And as I said in another post, once I've established myself and have put out a few graphic novels,I'd love to work with some of the people here on Deviantart and do cross-over events with characters and the concept of The Warehouse as you and others have already said,is the perfect means to do exactly that.If ever there was a perfect in-universe reason for people outside of the big companies to do cross-overs with each other, this is it!
