Liberty Soul Silver Nuzlocke Ch 14-20

Ah, this was such a satisfying page to draw!

I'll get to the game notes of what happened in the battle on the next page, but I just have to talk about Machoke's design:

I spent waaaaaaay too long debating on what I was gonna do about Rhonda's design.

I really don't like the overall design of the Machop line if I'm being honest. And I have a weird issue with the fact that Machoke randomly just materializes clothes out of nowhere when it evolves. You'll see it better on later pages, but Rhonda isn't gonna have a belt or pants or anything. Basically, I'm just going to treat the "pants" as a natural skin coloration. Like maybe a common accessory to put on Machoke/Machamp are belts, but I just don't want to have to draw that on Rhonda and I still feel like it's weird that she'd evolve suddenly having clothes. I don't know, it's a weird design nitpick to have, but I'm the one that's gonna have to draw it so, might as well have fun drawing my own characters, right?

Oh, and I also have a different interpretation for the red stripy things on Machoke's arms. I had this idea that they are kind of like gauntlet-type things that can pop out and retract to attack/defend. Because I thought that'd be cool.
