Rebooted Origin
(---"
A lively and bubbly heretic from a universe where everything and everyone is in a constant state of war. The one known as Cultist-Chan had given up her normal life and her old name to serve a pantheon of dark powers that see her as nothing but an amusing pawn in the great chess game known as Universal Conquest. CC has a rather unique gift in that she could tap into the powers of every one of the dark gods, allowing her to be something of an Opportunistic Devotee, meaning she can call upon a blessing from a god if a battle requires it. And each god has placed their individual mark on her body for whenever she needs to call for their aid.

However, during one battle on a human-colonized planet, rainbow portals started appearing over the battlefield, with Cultist-Chan ending up falling into one of them. As she fell, she felt her body being purge, of what she didn't know as she fell unconscious as she went through the tunnel.

She woke up some time later, surprised to see that the sky was like the nebulae back home, but beneath her was a sea of all sorts of junk that stretched as far as she could see. Then she looked down onto herself, seeing that all the dark gods' marks that she had on her skin were all gone. And she felt an emptiness inside herself as all her power and her connection to the dark forces was severed from her.

The emptiness and silence was overwhelming, as all she could do was lie on her spot, curled up into a ball and started crying from the crushing loneliness.

She laid there for a solid three minutes, reminiscing about all her friends and allies she had fun with back in her old universe, until she could hear something moving in the distance. She got up and looked in the direction of the sound, squinting her eyes to see something moving under the surface with a large fin sticking out of it. And it was heading straight towards her.

Frightened, she stumbled back up and ran away from whatever it was chasing her. Though the terrain wasn't that suitable for running, so she quickly stumbled and fell over back onto the surface. She scrambled backwards as the fin came closer and closer, and when it was 20 feet away from her, it leaped out of the junk.

The creature was a blue, shark-like creature, but it walked on all fours with the arms of a mantis and the back legs of a goat (Click Here for image). The creature roared at CC, who kept scrambling backwards as the monster approached. She held out a hand to try to conjure up a spell, but nothing came of it. So all she could do was close her eyes and wait for the end.

That was until she heard the sounds of electricity surging around over her, and the creature's screams of pain & panic as they were quickly silenced. She slowly opened her eyes, seeing that the creature was now a small, soft plushie.

"Now that was a close one." she heard a masculine ethereal voice say from behind her, "You shouldn't be walking around The Super-Sargasso Sea like this, miss; It's very dangerous without a boat."

She turned around to see something rather odd floating 10 ft above the ground. It was a blue and magenta skeleton with tentacles coming from the shoulders and it's head was a four-horned, misshappen cow skull with dark magenta fur on the manible and archs of electricity surging between it's horns like a jacob's ladder. All the blue bones on it's body had electricity quietly surging around them with the smell of ionized air whiffing about.

Curious, Cultist-Chan asked her savior who he was.

"I, my dear, am Tehff-Jha, The Exarch of Alteration. I am one of the Offal Gods that rule over this realm."

CC immediately perked up as she know knows she is in the presence of a god. She gleefully thanked the god with her rather pronounced lisp, which made Tehff-Jha chuckle.

"You are very welcome my dear." He replied, "Though since I saved your life, you must do something for me in return."

She became silent as she listened intently with a large grin on her face.

"You see," he started, "I've felt your presence when you entered into The Sea, and I could tell right away that you had something special about you, a touch of the divine if you will. So all I ask is this: Would you like to be one of my followers? You will have great blessing far beyond your-"

Cultist Chan immediately cut him off saying that she will do it, which surprised the god.

"Ohh... Very well then." He said as floated down to CC's level and he held out a clenched hand, "Take this, as it is a symbol of our pact together."

Cultist Chan held out her cupped hands as Tehff-Jha dropped a yellow ring with the symbol of a star engraved on it.

Excitedly, she slipped the ring on her finger. And a second after putting it on, her body was glowing a blue and magenta aura as she felt the emptiness from before being filled, though not as much as she would've liked. The colors of her clothes started to shift into a similar blue and magenta. Her forearms and hands became decked in clawed gauntlets that had the same colors, She felt horns come out from her skull, crackling with electricty. A skull mask formed around the top half of her face. A symbol of the god's head formed on her top. Blue skeletal markings appeared on her body. and finally she felt something eject from her back, which she saw was a blue and magenta insected limb with a yellow stinger.

"My child." Tehff-Jha said to get back CC's attention, "Now that your have been fully blessed, we must leave here. As there are many predators that roam these waters."

The god floated off of the ground as he started to head into one direction, with Cultist-Chan, having quickly figured out how to levitate, followed suit."---)

This is a revision of Cultist-Chan, a Warhammer 40k OC created by Mr-Culexus. Now you're probably wondering, "Fiend, that character belongs to someone else and they are part of an established and well known IP, how can you do this?"

Well Mr-Culexus did say he does allow people to use Cultist Chan for their own projects, be it without any reference to anything Warhammer related because Games Workshop is very protective of their IPs (Link Here for Proof). So before I released this, I asked for permission just to be sure, and he said that she's so different from the original that I really didn't need to ask. (Link here for proof to show that I'm not lying.)

With Tehff-Jha, he's actually a reference to a person that I'm sure some of you are familiar with if you've followed me long enough, Title Known. By that I mean he has said that, when asked what his fursona would be, he replied that it would be a skeleton with an ungulate (horse, deer, donkey, etc) skull with horns that have electricity surging between them like a jacob's ladder. Now I need to point this out, yes this god could be considered a free version of Warhammer's Chaos God of Change, Tzeench. Though the main differences between Tzeench and Tehff-Jha is that Tzeench is an evil god that is fed by any form of change, gaining even more power by forcing change upon others (ie mutating them beyond comprehension), and is a master tactician with plans so complex that they would make your head spin.

With Tehff-Jha, he's not really evil, as he doesn't alter things for his own benefit or for any grand plan, but because he truly believes that what he's doing is good for everyone. As to him, any alterations by his hand is for the sake of progress and variety, scoffing at concepts like tradition and what could be considered mainstream. However, he's severely misguided in his pursuits as he doesn't realize that not every form of change he does is beneficial for everyone. Not everyone wants to have their race and/or species swapped with another, have their skin color and/or hair changed, have their body shape altered, or have all manners of new appendages like wings, claws, stingers and frog tongues because the god thought they would be better with them.

And that's a main thing about The Offal Gods, they aren't evil, but can get severely carried away with their power and some are living contradictions. Such as Gondad Crownbreaker, The Offal God of Violent Revolution and Anarchy, who isn't evil, but just vehemently and passionately believes that all forms of authority and hierarchy is evil, despite being The God of Anarchy, and this irony is completely lost on him even with some of the other gods flat out explaining it to him. And it's this hatred of any and all forms of authority that has him lash out against the other gods and their followers.

I'm putting together a list of all the known Offal Gods, and I'll tell you, there are a lot of them to flesh out.
