Can you briefly introduce yourself?
My name is Sabina D'Antonio, I am an American artist / photographer now living and creating in Australia.

What draws you to mainly create abstract art?
The freedom to express myself, to express what caught my eye and how I saw it.
What is your creative process/thinking?
I am inspired by colour, rust, and texture, which you will find through my photography and well as my coastal abstract art.

What and who inspires you?
Walks along the beach inspire me, the numbers that catch my eye, as well as the colours, and textures I find through the lens. Being allowed to be myself, space in which to work, and music.
What are the different tools that you use?
With my photography, I go between my Nikon D5100 and my iPhoneX. My art, I mostly use Liquitex palette knifes, Matiisse paints, and mediums.

How would you describe your work?
Coastal.
What is the artwork you are the most proud of? And why?
Both, over time they have truly inspired each other.

Do you have any piece of advice that you would like to give to anyone who would like to start making abstract art?
Create from within, create what brings you joy.
