Year of Colours Trial
Welcome to this very colorful trial! Please be sure to read everything thoroughly, failure to do so will actually waste a year.
Benefits of this trial:
This trial will challenge you to consider the saturation and value of the hues you are working with to create compositions that are easy to read and recognize.
Rewards for the Evoloon(s) that finish this trial:
Unlimited body color."Offspring" of the Evoloon can hatch with "Colors on white areas" unlocked.
"Offspring" of the Evoloon can hatch with "Unlimited body color" unlocked.

Rules:
For your Evoloon to receive the benefits of this trial they need to complete all 12 months with that/those Evoloon(s). You cannot receive the reward by completing all 12 months with different Evoloons for each month.Each part is one month long and can only be submitted during their respective month. If you miss a month you will need to wait to submit for that month next year.
Each image done needs to be fully colored, shaded, and have a background with depth.
Each image must conform to the color theme of the month, however you are allowed to use a little bit of a different color to create emphasis or drama for your image so long as it is still unequivocally clear what the color theme is.
Backgrounds are allowed to be abstract as long as they have perceived effort. ( based on individual DA galleries )
Evoloons will need to conform to Visibility Rules.
You can do this trial with multiple Evoloons at a time. Evoloons do not need to be separated into their own image.
You will know your image has passed if it is accepted into the "Year of Colours" folder.
WARNING
You are strongly advised to keep a copy of your 'Year of Colour' images with all layers NOT merged until AFTER your image is accepted.
Many artists have merged all the layers of their final piece or have deleted the original image file from their computer BEFORE it is accepted and when asked to make edits, tell us they cannot because of this. Know that this is not an answer that will be accepted. You have been warned.

Blue Various hues of blue such as:
Prussian, sky, baby, true, teal, ultramarine, cyan

Primary
Primary Various hues of red, yellow, and blues are accepted.
Try to avoid creating secondary colors.

Secondary Various hues of orange, green, and purple are accepted.

Rainbow Take all the colors that you have used this year to make a wonderful rainbow collage!
Use the techniques you learned and discovered throughout the year to create an image with all the colors.
Will need a minimum of Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple, to pass.

Like with the images from the previous months, you will be using color to create a full image.
However it will not be just "draw a standard image of your Evoloon with rainbow elements around it."
You will need to use the techniques you've learned from above to create a representative collage of color.

What to do when you are done?
There is no turn in comment for this trial. If it made it into the trial folder, then it passed.
When your 12th image is approved, you automatically have access to the rewards.
When you have completed all 12 months, you need to add all 12 images to your Evoloons tracker or a tracker that is convenient to access.
When you want to make your little loonlings, you will need to state that you have completed the YOC trial and attach the tracker to the new Evoloons approval image in addition to any other info necessary to follow standard breeding practices.
As stated in the FAQ, the new Evoloon can be approved with UBC upgrades.
Please keep in mind however that these new Evoloons do not have the power to pass on their UBC upgrades to their offspring.
Only Evoloons that complete the 'Year of Colours Trial' can do so.

Changes to the Treasury and Shop Part 1
Because of the coming of Eclipse and the cloning of the group to ToyHouse, we've decided to revamp the treasury and shop because the software is completed. Since the changes must all be done by hand, it will take a few days before everything is updated in the treasury and in the group.
Most changes were made to de-clutter the treasury, to lower the amount of treasury work and to make the items more understandable for members with simpler names. Also, we had to address the problem of value of some rewards.

question about work rolling over;
lets say you do january-july, then you miss august. can you continue to do september-december and finish those, then do august when it is august again next year? or do you have to stop until august rolls back around?
