Now that Arran has escaped his Malamar's mind control (for now) an has realized he's not a fusion, he can hardly go around dressed like one, can he? ;D
Same pose used on Aram's app update, since I'm doing parallels, hehe. Ironic that Aram's second app is for when he kinda lost his mind, while Arran's is for the exact opposite situation!

History: Arran was the elder of two brothers and heir to a wealthy noble family. When Arran was 10 years old and within a few years of manhood, a greedy uncle decided the young noble and his dear 4 year old little brother, Sygfried, were to have an "accident". Though the toddler survived the attempt on his life, Arran received massive head trauma, and the uncle was officially recognized as Lord and Protector of the Donovan estate.
    The young heir's story would have ended there, if not for a malamar who used its psychic powers to enter Arran's mind and shape it for its own purposes, piecing together the damaged fragments of memory and personality so that he would recognize the malamar as part of himself. As a result when Arran finally awoke, although he would care for, serve, and protect this malamar, he could not see the malamar directly and acted as though he had truly become a fusion.
    Once the meddling uncle had been eliminated, Arran stepped up and became Lord of Misthaven, despite his young age. However, after a while mere lordship was no longer enough for Malamar and therefore Arran. As a sort of poultice for their mutual unrest, Arran eventually gathered a following of ravagers, mercenaries, and other like-minded people and spent many years raping and pillaging across Pokegea and living a generally hedonistic lifestyle, rarely returning to his own lands.
    Only recently, through the intervention of many friends and acquaintances he has made, was he freed from this puppet-master's control. For now...

Personality: Arran still struggles daily with the consequences of living as a servant of evil for so long, and although he would like to prove that he can be the 'good person' his friends believe he can be, he has a poor understanding of how to accomplish this, and a rather broken moral compass. Despite his unfamiliarity with himself or how he should properly act, Arran is still a vain and prideful man, often overextending himself whether by overestimating his own abilities (because he is used to having fusion powers) or generally getting himself into situations he is unprepared for because of his poor judgement. Despite his strutting demeanor and pompous attitude, however, the generosity and caring that struggled to shine through despite the Malamar's control has finally been able to surface. He believes firmly in the basic right of every person, no matter their rank, upbringing, social standing, or circumstances, to fight for their own personal freedom and to reach their maximum potential.

Pokemon: Malamar | Malamar, the Overturning Pokémon, and the evolved form of Inkay. Possessing the strongest hypnotic powers of any Pokémon, Malamar can compel others to do anything it wants them to do.
Nature: Naughty | +Attack -Special Defense
Ability: Infiltrator | Passes through the opposing Pokémon's barrier, substitute, and the like and strikes.
Moves: 
Camouflage | Changes the Pokémon's type to a type corresponding to the battlefield terrain. Arran's malamar uses this to hide itself somewhere nearby so it can control its puppets without being detected.
Dark Pulse | The user releases a horrible aura imbued with dark thoughts. This may also make the target flinch.
Psychic | The target is hit by a strong telekinetic force. This may also lower the target's Sp. Def stat.
Attract | If it is attracted to the gender of the user, the target becomes infatuated and less likely to attack.

Extra Notes:
- Original app: Arran the Malamar(?)
- Growing up as the lord of a border territory, he has combat training in a variety of weapons, but until recently he favored a curious sickle/scythe and chain combo, that I STILL totally haven't drawn. This is the Selenian longsword he got from the Coronation of the New Moon event.
- Yes, that malamar is still technically his partner pokemon, but it's... mysteriously missing right now. I'm planning to introduce his future swanna partner soon though!
- Thanks to everyone who has helped him develop as a person so far. ;u; He is well on his way from antagonist to protagonist(?) thanks to all of you!
