Since with Eclipse, categories don't exist anymore as we know them, the Daily Deviations system is evolving too.
From now on, I can feature any visual art that belongs to my "area of expertise" ie Abstract and Surreal, regardless of the category the visual artwork in question has been submitted to.
How to suggest a Daily Deviations: General informations.
- Quality over quantity.
- Make sure that the deviant hasn't already received a Daily Deviation within the past 6 months. To check it, add /dds at the end of the profile url.
- Send me a note
with the title: "DD Suggestion", or "DD S".
- Include in this note the URL of the deviation that you are suggesting.
- I can't give a Daily Deviation to a person who hasn't logged in within the last 30 days. But if you're not sure if the user you want to suggest has logged in, you can always send me a note! I'll look into it for you.
- Self DD Suggestions are accepted.
- Please send your DD Suggestion to only ONE CV. Do not send the same suggestion to multiple people.

- If you disagree with a DD and feel the need to voice your opinion, avoid leaving unpleasant comments on the artist's page. Send me a note and/or to moonbeam13 instead.
Personal preferences about how to send DD Suggestions.
- I accept that you include several Daily Deviations Suggestions in one note, as long as it is organized.
- I will not DD someone who is less than a month old on the site.
- I appreciate all DD Suggestions! I reply to them most of the times (at least to thank you). I will inform you if the DD Suggestion is accepted, or if the artist isn't active enough or if it's stolen work, if the artist received a DD within the past 6 months, if it's already scheduled or sent to the wrong CV, basically anything technical, but I will not discuss my personal opinion on the artwork suggested.
- Feel free to add in your DD Suggestion note why you think it deserves a DD (not mandatory though).
- In case of multiple suggesters, I will usually name the first one.
What am I looking for in DD Suggestions?
- High quality/resolution artworks that show expertise and creativity. Basically something that will blow my mind.
- Newer artworks, not artworks that are older than a year old.
- Finished artworks, no works in progress (WIPs).
- I do not accept artworks that are part of an ongoing contest. In such case, you will have to wait for the contest to end in order to suggest it.
- Original artworks only.
- If the artwork is a collaboration between two or more artists, I will only feature the suggestion I received.
- Must abide by DA's Copyright policy.
For photomanipulations:
- Proper credit and permissions must be given, even if they're using their own stock.
For resources & stock images:
- DA resource only. Off-site download advertisements will not be accepted.

- No resource that one has to go offsite to download.
For traditional art:
- No blurry/underexposed or overexposed/weirdly angled scans/photographs.
