I don't know why but I seem to only like drawing chibis and 4-koma comics and never finish off actual "serious" artwork. I know, it's not even Syaoran's birthday, and I'm posting a birthday omake for Valentine's Day. I was doodling a Kai and Meilin fanart for Valentine's Day because I haven't drawn the pair in a while, but the sketch came out too dark so I scrapped it.  I realized I haven't posted anything in a long time though I have several major artwork I've been working on, as well as the next chapters, and I just wanted to keep you guys a bit hyped in between it all.

This one was done really quickly because I think I'm doing an actual scene from the chapter. After I finished it, I realized the style came out a tad bit more current CLAMP manga style than usual. Maybe I was inspired from seeing the Card Captor Sakura "Magical Art Museum" Exhibition at the Mori Arts Center in Tokyo last December. wishluv.blogspot.com/2018/12/c… I've been drawing Sakura and Syaoran so long I totally just guestimate their coloring these days. I'm not really convinced with Sakura's green dress design and exact shade--I've been working on another concept art so this one is just an "artistic inspiration." If this comic was a bit longer, I wanted to include the other characters as well in the 4-koma like Meilin, Kai, Leiyun, Dairen and Naoko.
