In 2017, I had a long fight for my life against a mysterious skin condition that has now been summed up to chronic hives, likely due to an autoimmune disease where I am allergic to my own skin and hair. I made this painting on August 7th during my 2-week home confinement after I was released from ICU. This half represents my hospital stay where the red blotches on my bloated skin resembled galaxies.
