Rules and Requirements

Basic rules for all classes

• Each "round" has a maximum of five participants. A round is a scored group that compete against each other.
• You cannot have more than 3 entries currently submitted for a single event class at one time.
• You cannot submit the same tokota twice in one class, until it has been judged.
• You may create 10 continuous event entries per month for all classes, total.
• There are three differently scored types of events: Activity, Practice, and Standard. All types share effort/RNG/competition bonuses, but are weighted differently for each type. There are many variables that can increase your score.
• To participate, you must create a new tracker journal or add a section to your current trackers, where admins can respond with official event results.
• You may only win first place once per class, per tokota, per month.
• Entries are limited to 1 tokota (or team) per entry, with the exception of collaborations for a maximum of 2 tokotas (or teams). This applies across all event types and classes.

Basic requirements for all classes

• Tokotas must be full body (75%) in art, and mentioned throughout the piece in literature.
• Handlers, where required, must be at least 50% depicted in art and be substantially mentioned in literature.
• Moderately complex backgrounds are required in art as well as coloring. Shading is optional. Grayscale/monochromatic art is acceptable if the tokota still has identifiable markings of a value relative to its import.
• Literature entries must follow the same basic requirements as for drawing, and have a minimum of 1200 words, with a clear beginning and end.
• Where equipment is listed it must be shown at least 50% (e.g. sleds, tack).

 Don't Lose Your Lunch Prompt

The TCA is sick and tired of reports of missing picnic baskets. With all of the baskets turning up in abandoned bear dens and said furry beasts lumbering around in large numbers, it’s time to do some tidying up. They seem to be very hungry, though. You’ll have to be extra careful to avoid boo-boos!

Requirements

• One tokota per entry, unless collaborated; a handler is not required.
• Background/Environment must comply with the prompt's description in order to be judged: bear dens, woods, picnic tables, etc.
• Entries must be mid-contest with the tokota hunting the bears; you will not be penalized for any mistakes/mishaps depicted.
• Equipment required to be depicted: None
• You must include your Tokota's Event Tracker and regular Activity tracker.

Seafood Celebration Prompt

The thick sea ice has finally broken up enough to get to the delicious seafood beneath. To celebrate, the various towns and villages in Tokotna have planned a potluck. Who can gather the most crabs, shrimp, scallops, and other sea critters for the spring seafood boil?

Requirements

• One Dominant Tokota per entry, unless collaborated; a handler is not required.
• Background/Environment must comply with the prompt's description in order to be judged: underwater scenery or the actual celebration. Some kind of seafood must be shown.
• Entries must be mid-contest with the Tokota diving, helping to cook, or eating the tasty sea critters.
• Equipment required to be depicted: None
• You must include your Tokota's Event Tracker and regular Activity tracker.

 Delving Akycha's Gate

An area free of snow and ice. The caverns are long and twisted and it is easy to get lost. Fires burn all over the place and the air is thick with gas. Participants must hurry to gather what they can before being overwhelmed, but only the first item you find will count.. Well lit in places due to the fires, pitch black in others: only electric torches are allowed and no sources of flame are permitted. The air feels heavy and staying too long can cause hallucinations.

Requirements

• One Alpha tokota per entry, unless collaborated; a handler is not required.
• Background/Environment must comply with the prompt's description in order to be judged: Caves, caves, and more caves.
• Entries must be mid-contest with the tokota searching for a cache of items; you will not be penalized for any mistakes/mishaps depicted.
• Equipment required to be depicted: None
• You must include your Tokota's Event Tracker and regular Activity tracker.

Spring is here and we need to plant our crops! Get yo plow on and get those seeds in the ground so your handlers don’t starve during the winter!

• A handler is NOT required.
• Entries must be showing gearing up for or mid-participation; depictions must include your Tokota plowing, sowing seeds, or watering the fields.
• Background/Environment must comply with the prompt's description in order to be judged: farmland/fields.
• Equipment required to be depicted: Either a plow, seed bag, or watering device

Grab your polo shirts, khakis, and saddle up! Just remember, smacking your opponents’ Tokotas with your mallet might result in being kicked from the game (and possibly bitten...I wouldn’t do it if I were you!)

• A handler IS required.
• Entries must be gearing up for or mid-event; the handlers must be mounted and actively playing polo.
• Background/Environment must comply with the prompt's description in order to be judged: A flat area suitable for playing polo

Does your Tokota have a gait smoother than Great-Granny's country gravy on a Sunday morning? Well, it's time to step up and prove it. The goal is to carry an ostrich egg on an extra large wooden spoon around the course and return without a crack. Can your Tokota do it?

• Two Tokotas per entry, unless collaborated. Both Tokotas in a team must belong to the same player. 
• This does count as 2 of your 10 entries for the month.
• A handler is NOT required.
• Entries must be mid-show, depicting your Tokota somewhere along the race course.
• Scores and placings will be given per team, not per Tokota.
