Wag your wings
For those of my fellow deviant who follow my journals, you know i have bought a 'Happiness' calendar. Every day i get a new quote and a related task, which would help in being more happy.
Yesterday te quote was 'In times of joy, all of us wished we possessed a tail we could wag.' from W. H. Auden (American-English poet). The task was: 'Name a characteristic of an animal that you would like to possess'.
I would extend that to a challenge. Draw, take a picture, clay or write about that characteristic. You can also search devianart for an artwork which embodies what you'd like, and mention it.
So i start with my dream...
Trust
Today i was yet again inspired by a quote on my Hapiness calendar.
"A man who trusts nobody is apt to be the kind of man nobody trusts." Harold MacMillan (British politician and prime minister)
Hence the suggestion of the day, giving and getting trust makes people happy. So i decided to trust my fellow deviants and give my newest sketches the 'Offer original file as a free download' feature. Hope you like it, and gives us all some extra hapiness ;)
To bad Mr. MacMillan word weren't as original as i thought:

I bought myself the calendar of "The world book of happiness" (http://www.theworldbookofhappiness.com). Every day i get a quote about happiness and a hint on how to achieve that happiness (usually related to that quote).
Last wednesday i got this: "People anywhere in the world have one thing in common: the desire for happiness and the desire to manifest themselves". Quote by Martin Heylen, Belgian journalist.
The suggestion i got that day was:
Write down the name of 5 people you know.
Add the way you think how they try to be happy.
And finally, how can you help them achieving that.

Holidays 're over
Figure drawing class, started again, yesterday. For those who wonder what i did in the holidays, i was trying out my new markers from Promarker.
I drew R1 (the day after i saw Rogue One) with it, and a present for a friend (La vita e bella).
Further i made some cards to help my son planning his day. I made several cards based on a game he loves to play, called 'Clash of Clans'. I did the barbarian waving a giant toothbrush as a sword...
